Ball head tripods - not good for macro work
This is my first "reasonable" quality tripod for use with an SLR (nikon D5200)Unfortunately I didnt understand the ball head would not be stable if amacro lens or track was added.For normal work without a long/heavy lens or attachment it seems reallygreat however. The flexibility of dangling the camera could be useful toothers. The design and ease of use of the leg extensions would be hard tobetter. The level indicator bubble would be more use if it could be seenwhile a camera was fitted.Oh - the bag it comes in is good too.Overall a good quality product but my own lack of knowledge makes itno use unless I can fix the ball - or replace the head with something that just workswith heavier attachments.
