I don't use Windows so I can't answer the questions directly. However, my own experience on my Mac was that I couldn't get the Nexigo to give me a good focused image on Zoom and my audio was muffled.

The red light means the camera is on standby, turns green when you actually using the camera.

The camera hooks into your laptop. If you have an HDMI port on your computer (or the proper converter to HDMI) you can mirror your laptop on your HDTV, with or without the camera.

Yes, the stand folds up under the "Nexigo" section. It will sit flat on a desk or stand. The camera does tilt up and down as well as side to side.
