I am sorry. I wouldnot have recommended it for a PS4 since I do not have that knowledge. Just computers and laptops. I even searched the reviews to see if I mistakenly did and cannot find it. I cannot help you further unless you use it on a computer or laptop. Otherwise, I would return it. Just go to your orders and select return next to that item. It is easy to return.

The app you are using, say Zoom, will normally ask you which mic/speaker you want to use, i.e. cam based or computer based. You select which one.

Can I hook this up to my TV and use my laptop screen mirroring

I don’t think so.... thou you can connect the usb to the tv / smart tv but you can’t load drivers to operate the camera so it won’t function. But you can hook it up to you laptop and then mirror it to your tv using a 3rd party app like Apple TV etc.
