Does this adapter accept pre-ai nikon f mount lenses? i was told my k&f it wont but i do not see the ai tab that would prevent mounting such lenses

Yes. I use this with Nikon bellows and with Non-AI lenses. There might be isolated exceptions (exotic lenses). And, by the way, I think this is an excellent product, well made, precise, good item.
