When you can be flash
Very well made product that provides confidence it fitted and worked perfectly with my Nikon. Producing excellent results in a range of uses. It does have limitations especially when taking multiple photographs so if you need to take many bursts of photographs very quickly then you may need to consider other units. I cannot say where the extremes lay and I may be a little unfair on the units capabilities. I did take multiple photographs in brackets of 2 to 4 over several seconds and it seemed to keep up with that level of picture taking fine. It also worked fine linking with the automatic functions on the camera. The unit comes with a holding case and a diffuser that seems to work very well. I have not used it working to control a slave unit and may need to re-read the instruction booklet a few times.

Nice camera
I picked up the 40D in a swap this week. I took it out as a second lens camera for a low light indoor shoot. I shot at 1000 Iso which is about as high as it goes, but the little bit of noise cleaned up nicely in LR. Honestly, I think the auto focus is better than the 7D and the sharpness is comparable. Of course it is a 10mp camera as is the iphone etc but I hear people get nice enlargements from this. I am glad I picked it up and will definitely keep it for shoots. It does not have all the bells and whistles of the 7d but frankly I get a little frustrated with the autofocus on the 7. Good camera.

One of the best kids gifts of 2022 (ioho)
What's there not to like. Open up the box to a toddle finger-size friendly camera. Lift the lens, snap a selfie and you are now part of the new selfie generation (as a 2 year old!). We love how easy and intuitive this camera is out of the box. Also comes with an SD card, so mom/dad can quickly show the pics to family friends and camera owner who will now demand her own cloud services to store her/his pics.You will see quickly why we rate this so high and probably our favorite toy for Christmas 2022.great value/price

Seems to be a good buy
I can't answer anything about durability yet since these were just given as Christmas gifts, but the girls I gave them to were thrilled with the quality of the pictures taken and with the ease of using the lens. It is a sturdy, good quality lens.

Great Camera, Poor Case Design
No problems with the GoPro Hero 9 so far. It seems like a great camera. I left a star off because the case is poorly designed. The camera and components are all small items, some with metal and rigid plastic edges, and the case is not compartmentalized. Everything just slides around in there. The netting on the lid is loose, and does not hold items in well. When the case is closed items slide out of the net in to the main compartment of the case. I have to wrap the camera in a cloth to protect the screen and lens. I'm considering getting some foam to create dividers, but at this price, I shouldn't have to do that.

I highly recommend this camera & make sure you buy
No doubt this is a great camera. I bought body only along with 50mm f1.4 lens and images are extremely sharp. Live view is great although I prefer looking thru the viewfinder and the camera body feels very solid and professional.I was very impressed with Amazon's fast free shipping and great price. I looked everywhere (online & retail) to find lower prices but no one could beat Amazon. Free shipping is extremely fast, it arrived 6 days faster than the expected delivery date. I was glad I didn't pay for faster shipping. I highly recommend this camera.

I expected the pics when I reviewed them to be as big as the image showed through the lens. They are just as far away as if I was not using a lens.Baffling! I have not printed any as of yet but the images are crystal clear in my viewing area.

Do not forget, you HAVE to separate the two lens to get macro. The macro lens is separate from the whole piece, so unscrew it and attach it to the clip for super close up pics. Both need to be together for the wide angle views though.

Solid Webcam
I had a Macbook Air that was 10 years old, which was amazing in itself! However, that camera only gave me 720p, which was fine, but didn't always focus well. I installed this camera through the cable to that laptop and it was a game changer. Yes, of course, going from 720 to 1080 is a massive difference for video production. It improved my ability to handle online video conferencing. I could put it where I wanted it. I wish the webcam came with tools to control the camera through a driver set instead of needing a subscription to an app to take advantage of some of the features. It might be nice to have a lens cap onboard.
