Well priced Cardoid mono microphone
Note: The maker supplied a review sample for evaluation, the opinion of the product is my own personal viewIn the box with the microphone is a user guide, CR2032 lithium cells and a foam covering to help reduce wind noise. Simply unscrew the back and pop the battery in, top controls are very simple off, 0dB and a gain of +10dB. Being a " mini shotgun" microphone it uses the common Cardioid or heart shape pattern this is directional microphone that is most of the sound area captured is in the forward position facing the microphone but it also extends around the sides a bit giving some minor ambient pick up. This differs quite a lot from many camera on-board/built microphones which tend to pick up a lot of ambient noise and can be rather vague; in contrast this will give more focus and is useful as a general purpose microphone where you want to concentrate the sound from one area more and it's particularly well suited to interviews. Mono tends to be preferable for speech it provides more sound focus on the speaker and voice; stereo would be the choice for music/concerts both have their own place.Build is a cut above many affordable mics out there most of the body is metal and it feels rather solid in the hand, a rubber damper is present which reduces vibrations or noise pick up from the camera. On the bottom is a plastic mount which fits a normal camera hot shoe if you have a non standard one then you can pick up a cold/hot shoe adapter and it will work just fine as long as you have of course a 3.5mm microphone input. Cable is coiled and extends roughly to 30cm max. if you want to use the microphone off camera you can pick up a 3.5mm extender lead and mount it on a flash gun stand.Performance of the microphone is good for this price point you can't really find many flaws (a touch of low frequency rumble in tricky conditions) but you might want to tweak the camera settings in addition to the +10dB gain (if you can) some models have a wind cut option and adjustable gain you should use this in addition to the foam cover to reduce wind noise or to extend reach. Depth of sound is far better than many cameras which have front facing small microphones they pick up lots of wind noise and a large spread of sound this gives not only much more fidelity but it's small enough to carry around easily in the bag. The choice of a smaller lithium cell might be less appealing but at least they are cheap and easy to find (bit early to comment on battery life) a red LED will glow if power is low on this mic you briefly see it when powering it on. I'd like a small carry bag to be included bar that this is a good little microphone that's likely to appeal to those looking to do some more serious video work without a heavy outlay.

I love this lens!
I would use this lens all the time if it wasnt so heavy. It does help keep my arms in shape though! This lens is sharp and the depth of field you get at 200mm with a wide aperture is awesome. Many of my friends are mom-ographers. I always recommend they start out with a simple 50 mm then after they get used to their camera I tell them to take the plunge and get this lens. Its great for shooting kids at their sporting events or just playing in the back yard. The quality of the images are amazing. I use this lens when shooting lifestyle outside or shooting fashion in studio.

Great for blurred backgrounds and low light
If you are a beginner or amateur wanting to improve your photography and only have a budget to splurge on one thing a 50mm lens is the way to go, I should have bought this lens years ago. Great for blurred backgrounds and low light, the images also appear clearer and sharper. It is a prime lens (which simply means it doesn't zoom in and out) so you have to move around to frame your subjects but it forces you to think and train your eye. Excellent purchase if you're wanting to buy a "fancy" lens because you're sick of the one that came with your camera.

Excellent Underwater camera!
Footage is great! The lens hood keeps droplets from the lens as I lifted in and out of the pool. Little shaky footage, but I added a stabilizer filter and its perfect. I had the camera on a boom pole which I stuck underwater.Best part was the Flip option. Just flips the image 180 degrees as I had it upside during the shoot.

Does Its Job
Bought this to protect my kit lens. I'm not one to put extra glass in front of my lens/sensor, but this guy hasn't had any noticeable effect on pictures. And it took the brunt of an impact after the camera slipped off my shoulder. At the price, I'd definitely pick another one of these up if I ever needed to.

Good webcam
Decent web cam, tripod is flimsy by does the job. Sound quality is good. Clamps lightly to the top of the monitor. Camera and audio found easily by WIndows and my movie editing software. Lens cover does not need the adhesive to attach, simply pushing it on around the lens will hold nicely and works well plus it allow for easy removal of the cover if desired.

Canon 17-40 wide angle lens
I bought this lens for my 5D Mark ll and the only thing bad about it, is I should have bought this a long time ago. It's a great lens. It's on my camera now more than my 70-200. I'm really happy with the quality of the images, and I can't wait to get back to Zion NP!

This lens is on point!
I love having this lens for my iPhone. I travel a lot and have a great camera but there are times when I want to go light and just use my phone. The macro lens allows me to capture details and the wide angle is great for group shots, cityscapes and vistas. I received this as a gift and am so happy to have it.

Easy enough for a novice photographer to use!
I was looking for a camera to record video and research lead me to this camera. Takes excellent video and its pretty easy to learn how to use. One thing I didn't anticipate was having to turn the lens to zoom in and out but I'm getting use to that. Overall I'm very please with the camera.
