powerful and bright
The function of this microscope is very similar to the ones I've used in school, not as heavy duty construction but the functionality is very similar. The screen works well so you don't have to strain your eyes on the loupes, and it comes with a really durable carrying case for easy and secure transport. The quality of the loupes is great, no blurriness whatsoever and focuses well.

A great teaching tool, works well, good clarity and mag functionality
I love having this around. It's such a great teaching and learning tool for my kids. It requires a little patience to work with a 5 and 7 year old but it comes with everything needed to really look closely at some cool things. The magnification is quite good and the clarity and focus seems to work well, at least for me but it does take some time to tune in and teach kids to understand how to view through it. The case is beefy and really protective, plenty of padding to keep the fragile elements of the scope safe.

Product came in a case wrapped in plastic bags. Includes a screen, microscope, 2 pairs of eyepieces (10x, 25x), and a charging cord. Everything is easy to setup. I barely used the user manual. There are 4 objective lenses(4x, 10x, 40x and 100x) giving enough magnification for most uses. I made a slice using onion and the cell walls are very clear on the screen (can’t see other organelles because I didn’t dye the specimen).

Great Microscope!
This is a pretty neat microscope.The light emitter is electric (vs a reflecting mirror) that is powered by a small AC power supply. The light also has a control to allow brightness adjustments. The body of the microscope is metal. The slide tray has a clamp to keep the slide in place. The tray can be adjusted horizontally in the XY plane.
