Portable and fun with children
Great telescope for the money, especially with the phone adapter. Excellent as introductory for kids to teach and build their interest. Thanks Gskyer

Great telescope
We got this telescope for our kiddos after they took an interest in stars. This telescope is easy to use and our kids love it! It was easy to assemble and being able to take pictures with your phone is awesome!

Great beginner telescope.
This telescope is a great value for a beginner telescope. It was easy to assemble. There are many different attachments to use to enhance your views of the sky. You can even attach your phone. It is very portable so you can take it anywhere.

Very noticeable Chromatic Aberration. Better optio
I’ve owned a telescope since 1988 when I was given one for Christmas. It was fairly basic, but after trying out similar budget priced modern options, I’m realizing it’s a lot better than much of what you can get today for the same equivalent price. That said, this telescope is a pretty good beginner option and worth the investment over other more budget priced options though it isn’t the best value for a beginner overall. On face value, this telescope is a good deal. You get the telescope with an aluminum body, a stand with a movement handle, a phone camera mount, a sighting scope, two eyepieces (10X & 25X), a 3X Barlow lens and a fairly decent padded nylon carry case, complete with handles and a shoulder strap. The case interior has velcro straps and a cushioned flap to hold everything down so they don’t crash around inside while carried. A smaller interior case is provided to hold the scope and eyepieces. The lightweight aluminum stand has spiked feet so pressing them into the ground will help keep the telescope in place. It also features a very basic movement handle and a tray for holding your lenses and other parts. I don’t like that it’s so light as it lacks the grounding of a heavier stand and is prone to jiggle when touched, even when the spikes are pressed into the ground. The telescope itself feels well built with good fit and finish. All the parts fit together cleanly, though there is a bit more plastic involved than I might have liked (especially with the barlow lens which, frankly, feels really cheaply made). It doesn’t really affect the operation of the telescope, but it makes it feel a little less premium than it otherwise might. The body of the telescope is aluminum with a 70mm aperture and 700mm focal length. It uses a nonstandard mount to attach to the stand, so what you get is what you get. Upgrading will be limited to lenses and possibly the sighting scope. You’ll be out of luck with the stand. One thing that I really like is the inclusion of the phone mount. This is something that I love. Not only does it let you take pictures with the telescope, but it lets you show others what the telescope is seeing in real time without taking turns to look through the eyepiece.Where this telescope falters a little is in the optics. It’s not a bad starter telescope, but the optics aren’t as good as a similarly priced (adjusted for inflation) telescope from 30 years ago. There was noticeable chromatic aberration in this telescope. I’m guessing it’s less the eyepiece lenses than the large main body lens that is the issue. Chromatic aberration is color fringing around the edges of the thing you’re looking at. It was really obvious when looking at the moon and something that really stood out to me compared to my old telescope. It really bothers me and definitely hurts the value of this telescope.Bottom line, is this worth the $200 asking price (at time of review)?I looked into other offerings by some of the better known brands and I’d say that this telescope is a bit more expensive than similar offerings by name brands. What I found was better quality offerings for similar or a little less money. I can only recommend that first time buyers do their homework and get a little educated about brands and what to look for before making their first purchase. Is this telescope bad? No, but for the price, it’s not as good as it could be.

Decent Telescope, was able to at least see Neowise
The telescope was a fair price for what it can do. I was actually able to see Neowise Comet with this. Altho it’s probably better for daytime sight seeing. Only issue for me was the phone holder but the rest of the telescope was a decent buy.
