The K&F barely supported a Canon 400mm lens using the support arm of the lens. I found I had to really lock down to get the lens to hold position. I have moved on to another brand.

Yes, sir or ma'am....it does mine. I have a Nikon D800 (full frame camera) WITH battery grip AND a Tamron 70-200 G2 Lens. No worries here. I put the len's tripod Swiss Arca bracket onto the tripod AFTER removing the attaching plate and I have had no issues yet. Again, it is attached at the LENS itself...not the camera body. Hope this helps. Oh...and for added comfort level, you can hook a small sandbag to bottom center of tripod stand for more stability if you feel you need it outdoors, etc.
