PHOTOGRAPHIC GADGET WITH MULTIPLE POSSIBILITIES
The support is received in a white plastic bag with closure that allows you to see the contents on the front side without any image or screen printing except for some stickers with commercial information. Inside, next to the article, a cardboard with manufacturer information in English, French, German and Chinese, and a piece of paper with safety warnings including Spanish. The support consists of three bodies with several accessories: the clamp and two tubes of 6 cm in length by 2.5 cm in diameter. * The clamp has fairly wide blades (8 cm.) covered with two rubber protectors that come out, allowing you to hold objects up to 5 cm thick, with greater stability the wider the base to which it is anchored. The internal spring offers plenty of resistance but opens well with just one hand. The arms have two holes into which the two screws of the connecting piece enter and can be placed on either side. * The tubes are joined at an articulated end and fastened with a screw with a spring that allows the rotation of 180 degrees. On each of the tips there are silver-colored cylindrical pieces, one of which is used to attach the set to the clamp with two small allen-type screws and the other has the usual threads in 1/4 and 3/8 photographic equipment. On opposite sides, each tube has a knob for holding these parts and the one for the attachment to the clamp, a hole through which a tube of 1 cm of maximum diameter with a screw for attachment can be passed. The purpose of this mount is manifold thanks to its rotation options and the possibility of attaching it to other photographic accessories such as tripods, selfie sticks, etc., thanks to the two standard threads and the intermediate step. In my case, the idea was to use it to hold a mobile phone holder that flies above the monitor and be able to record the table, but the clamp is not strong enough to hold the extender stick, overcoming the weight of the mobile phone or camera and the risk of damaging the screen. However, I'm sure that over time I'll give it some use and for what it costs, it's worth having it for when you need it.
