Creative "prism" effect of lens is a trip, optical glass is outstanding quality, images are sharp
I already had a 77mm step-up ring for another specialty lens that I have (an eclipse filter) so it was natural for me to get this specialty lens in 77mm. The functionality is unique and the creative "prism" effect of this lens is a trip... like it really makes me think of an LSD trip effect! The optical glass is outstanding quality and images are sharp. The amount of glass comprising the front prism makes it a relatively heavy lens. I found that I had to be very careful to align this lens to my step-up ring and patiently and slowly twist them together. I may not be using this often but I'm already thinking of creative shots that will appropriately use this to tell a story.
