Affordable fractal effects for photographers of any skill
Being made of actual optical glass, this filter bulges out quite significantly from the base of the aluminum edges. I should note that there's no threading on the outer side to attach any other filter or cap/cover on top of this filter. Very heavy too, and can be tricky when handling taking it from the case and attaching and vice versa.
Solidly packaged, with extra-thick padding to protect the filter, and considerate enough to include cleaning pads which I find to be a consistent feature with K&F Concept filters.
Tried it out indoors, included a before->after to see how the results compare as an amateur like me.
Reasonably priced to add to photography equipment regardless of skill, which I very much appreciate. Somewhat wish the rotatable feature of this filter changed the aperture/focus so that the fractal size effect changed instead of just their positioning, but that's probably asking too much at this price-point.

This prism lens fx filter is a lot of fun!
First impressions were great and the results exceeded my expectations.
My setup: Sony ZV-E10 with Sigma f1.4 50mm DC DN contemporary lens. I used a step up adapter to fit the 58mm size on my camera
Once the fx filter from K&F Concepts was installed, shooting was a breeze in both photo and video formats. I used a simple light setup to shoot dynamic shots using a narrow depth of field. The rotation and resulting image feels intuitive to achieve with very little effort.

The quality and functionality are excellent, although I have to say it's not that easy to get the most out of the filter.
It's quite small and yet still offers a rotating function—wow!
What bothers me, however, is that the prism protrudes too far, so no aperture or even a lens cap fits. You always have to unscrew it and put it away.
In conclusion: a well-known brand of photo accessories, known for its quality and versatility. I find the filter interesting, but there's room for improvement. Nevertheless, I'd happily recommend it.

A fun, creative filter.
I love having a few of these weird, funky filters in my kit when inspiration strikes. K&F always provides quality filters, and this is no exception. This filter, like all K&F products I've used in the past, is nice quality at a good price.
The build quality of this filter feels really nice and the optical quality is great as well. I don't notice any distracting or unwanted optical issues.

The filter is made well, and the results are interesting. Lots of glass.
This filter isn't for everyone, and you can say it's gaudy too, but I won't knock any points off that because if this is the effect you are looking for, it's actually really fun and does remind me of the 80's/90's.
The filter is made very well, and the glass is CHUNKY and thick. I got the 82mm version and to be honest I found using from a 16mm lens up to a 200mm lens the results and composition really vary and I didn't exactly find a sweet spot because it also varies with the size of your subject. Taking pictures of smaller flowers was better at a certain focal length, were as portraits of people and things like cats worked better at others. What I mean by better is have it where the 5 other diffracted floating points aren't really creating a major distraction to the center point.
The effect is interesting. Almost like a bug eye kaleidoscope effect. I uploaded a video of my cat for you guys to see. It would of been neat if there was a lip on the filter to spin it easier during video, but you can see the intended results of the lens easily.
The filter doesn't really affect the clarity of your lens either. Overall if judged just on on how it's made, the effect it does, and how well it works, I can't really find any fault in the filter at all.
