This is a well developed piece of engineering, that you only start to appreciate as you use it. I was worried about how much movement I was going to be able to get out of the ball head, but only realised after I had fitted it to my monopod, that the rotation comes from a cylinder, rather than the ball itself, so more available than you can use.As one of the other reviewers noted, if you are using it in the most often illustrated way, then swap it around to be left handed, so that you can hold your camera and shutter release with your right hand, and the control for the ball with your left hand. It took me a few minutes to realise that I can use it on end as well. not like the amazon illustration, but the mount plate detaches, and can be fitted to the opposite end of the handle, so that you can use it as a vertical pistol grip - my preference.I have a new big heavy lens for photographing aeroplanes, and I am either going to have to spend a lot of time in the gym getting my shoulders back in shape, or use one of these. This is looking like a winner. New, this is very firm when locked.even with a heavy dollop of camera and glass on it. I think this will be a permanent fixture on my monopod.

Use this to mount a 360 camera between the windshield and rear view mirror inside my car, for use as a dashcam. Also found that this works really well for mounting a second camera onto a a tripod and/or a monopod. The clamp is made of metal and seems heavy duty, though would be careful not to over tighten the clamp. The arm that would hold the camera seems to be plastic but it is adequate to do the job. Haven't had any problems with it slipping out of place unless I cause it to do so. Would like to get several more in the future.

I was a little skeptical about this camera because of the low price point but now I have it in my hands, I'm really impressed! Attached great to a GoPro monopod. I'm going snorkeling with it in a few days and am super excited to use it. If it doesn't live up to my expectations, I'll update

Could not be happier with this item. Nice case and well made, small tri-pod comes with, along with a little cloth with which to wipe the lens. Other reviewers have wondered where this item is made. No indication anywhere on item or box. The plastic bags that the item and the tri-pod are in however says, "ACHTUNG DIESER BEUTEL IST KEIN SPIELZEUG," which I am thinking may be German. Also the screw hole is the same size as required by my monopod, which is an added delight. I will probably use the monopod rather than the little tri-pod, which may well be used with light weight camera. BTW, the plastic bags also say, "WARNING..........." in English, so maybe the item was made in England?

While a bit expensive, this actually works well for it's intended purpose. It's small, lightweight, and does a great job of holding my Sony Nex-7 even with the heavy 18-200mm zoom on it. Yep, you'll have to remove it to use your standard monopod/tripod - it's not difficult, but is an extra step. This is one of those items you'll likely use less than you think, yet find invaluable for those few times you really need it.

It’s good and seems sturdy. I use it with a FF Camera and a 70-200 long Lens attached. I can still unlatch and use the monopod bc that attaches to the lens itself. I am not tiny and it fits. I still get tangled in it from time to time. But don’t let that deter you. I have special skills that allow such awkwardness.

Put in it Mavic Mini, Gopro7, Sony Cybershot, bunch of spare batteries and USB chargers, cables. There's still room for phone and wallet. Water bottle (0.5 L) can feet in outside mesh pocket (although can fall out if bag turned upside down). Don't have tripod, but use monopod (quickpod) for Gopro (360 selfie shots, high speed for slow motion (at 240 fps)). Good quality bag for the price.

I bought these to listen to the TV while sleeping. This is a very cool concept because I like to cover my eyes when trying to sleep. The TV volume bother my boyfriend so this is perfect for the reasons I needed it for! I would highly recommend if you need it for same reasons. I like the color and I like the fit of hiw it fits perfectly over my eyes and is not too tight.
