The ergonomically shaped handle with a pleasantly grippy structure that provides a secure grip even when cold or when wearing gloves is particularly impressive.

The camera snaps into place within seconds, reliably, stably and without fiddling. This is exactly how a modern quick-release system should work.

In 360° shots, the selfie stick is neatly hidden, as you would expect from high-quality Insta360-compatible sticks. The maximum length of 89 cm is not exactly long, but long enough for dynamic shots, group shots or third-person view perspectives. At the same time, the stick remains sufficiently stable and torsion-resistant, even during rapid movements.

The silicone lens cover is another plus point. It reliably protects the sensitive X5 lenses, even when the camera is in a pocket or backpack. The fact that the manufacturer has thought about this rounds off the overall package.

3. Personal conclusion

An excellent selfie stick for the Insta360 X5 - compact, sturdy, well made and with an extremely practical quick-release fastener. For the price, you get a well-rounded package without any real weaknesses. That is why a very clear 5-star recommendation.
