As far as I can tell, it works
I bought this because my power bill was so high due to electric heat so I got a single head propane heater and I just wanted to make sure I didn't end up taking the big sleep if you know what I mean... The propane heater is not registering anything until it gets close to empty then it's around 15-20ppm, I took it to work with me and my forced air propane heater puts out 15-20 consistently, this thing will even pick up my car exhaust at the front door. Even a zippo lighter will set it off so I'm pretty sure it works. I also have carbon monoxide detectors in my house and they haven't gone off yet so I think I'm safe.
