Tripod of my Dreams
this tripod has everything that I could ask for and will work great with my camcorder, my cell phone, and using it for a rocket launcher for my model rockets. It has every feature that I can think of and the Boom feature will allow me to attach my ham radio satellite communication antenna on the end, and still sit in my power chair and grab the end of the boom and be able to swing the satellite antenna from one horizon to the next. the small 1/4" shoe fitting to the 3/8 thread adapter allowed me to screw on a cordless drill chuck which will allow me to use it for my model rocketry and easily switch out the launch rods from 1/8 to 1/4 to 3/8" . this is one of those products that when you open up the nice bag that it comes in ,that it brings a smile to your face knowing that it is going to be exactly what you need.

The video quality of this unit is superb. It comes with a nifty magnetic cover, but it's completely removable - so I expect it will get lost easily.The ring light might be helpful on a laptop, but in my case, on top of a 32" Samsung monitor about 3 feet away, it makes no difference.The star of this camera is the remote. It allows you to zoom in and set your video exactly how you want it to look. It doesn't pan the camera, just moves around the field of view. Because the picture quality is good, it's a really neat effect. See the video to watch it in action.The audio quality, however, is terrible. Went through a few USB cables until I found one that worked - PC actually recognized the camera.Needs a lot of light even with the aperture wide open. I have significant vignetting though, still need to look into why.Picture quality is quite good. I have one looking down onto a desk workspace from about 3’ up. With the correct (smaller) aperture, I have a depth of field of about 3” which is great for making how-to videos of moderately sized objects (cell phones, small 3D printed objects, books, etc). And fixed focus means you don’t need to worry about the camera hunting for focus when you move an object.People have made remotely controlled motors for the control rings if you need that functionality.

Amazing Baby Monitor!!
This video baby monitor is amazing!! This monitor has put both myself and my husband’s mind at ease. We don’t have to worry about what our child is doing in bed because now we can look anytime we want. The camera capabilities are wonderful! We are able to zoom in really close and zoom out for when we want to see more. We use to have a basic audio monitor and I don’t know why we waited so long to upgrade! My husband and I are obsessed with watching the camera to see what our child is doing. The battery is great and lasts a long time. Our other monitor went dead in about an hour and a half which was terrible! I would highly recommend this to any new parents!!

Look no further!
We had arlo baby. Software update happened. It screwed it big time. And that’s the thing, we realized, maybe having a “non-smart” video monitor would be just what we need. This is it. I love that it is phone free and WiFi free (connecting to the router that is). Video isn’t HD (720p) but more like around 360p-480p, somewhere in that range. But it’s clear enough and does the job with hardly any latency at all. range is HUGE. Night vision is fantastic. Temperature setting is accurate. We really like that the camera is motorized to move around when we need it to. Sound and talk back is great as well! I guess my only gripe is that you can’t mount it to a camera tripod stand, but oh well; Mounting on the wall works just fine.

Great product and customer service!
Original review: I researched so many cameras specifically for dual screen playing simultaneously and this one seemed to be the best for a reasonable price. I was right, it’s a great camera! My daughter’s sits on a shelf and I mounted my son’s to the side of his crib and they work great. You can play numerous lullabies, watch both kids, talk to them and the camera moves in all directions. If you’re looking for a good monitor this is it.Updated review: The product is amazing and so is the customer service! My 2 year old dropped the parent monitor and the antenna broke (no fault done by the company). I decided to call and see if I could get a replacement. The man was very friendly and sent me a replacement at no charge right away! I’m very pleased and impressed. This company has 5 stars in my book.

Unexpectedly useful
I bought this to look at the nightlife outside a dining room window. We know we have deer, raccoons, and coyotes. That won’t work, because the IR light source reflects in the glass, so the camera only sees itself.However, we have been having rodent problems elsewhere in the house (Country living in a turn of the last century house). The camera has proven invaluable to determine what rodents (Douglass squirrels and Norwegian rats), and where they are gaining entry: not even close to where we suspected.The motion detection seems to be very center focused, so movement on the periphery of the frame does not raise an alarm in the app nor grab that video segment.The software to access the micro SD card – the data is encrypted in a proprietary format – only runs on Windows, so for everyone else, a subscription is necessary.I’m surprisingly pleased.

BOUGHT 2! (though I wish it had a little feature)
I have been using this camera for my work meetings, and ended up buying a second one for my son (13 year old boy) for his various online classes.It is good quality, decent price, and it has a good "grip" mechanism, never falls off or anything. Haven't had any issues.the only reason why I do not give it a five star is because when it comes to adjusting the angle, I always wish I could move/rotate it/adjust it horizontally. Hoping that makes sense.This camera can only be adjusted vertically (to show top of your head, or bottom of chest, etc). Since it does not rotate sideways, if I want to cut off a certain corner of my bedroom to not show it on video, I have to adjust my entire monitor or my desk, and it gets quite annoying.

Read alot review. Happy with this one
I am an electrician I do a lot of commercial security work. And install a lot of high end security and camera systems. That being said. This isnt the best camera I have seen. BUT. for the money I was surprised how well I like it. It does the job. Can it focus far away. No. But for 20 to 30 ft. Works good. I really liked how easy it was to install. Note of you dont have a password on router. When setting it up. Dont try to put 1 in. That hung me up. Oh. If your connect to the interweb. Away from home. It connects to your home network. Just like if your at home on the same network. Hope this helps. I read a lot of reviews before buying this 1. Would I pick another. Of I was spending a lot more. But for the price. I'm happy with this 1
