Why does vignetting occur?
A
All adjustable ND filters will have this problem. The larger the focal length used, the smaller the effect of the cross shadow. There will be obvious cross shadow and vignetting at a large light reduction setting. If you continue to rotate, the shadow will disappear naturally. This is a physical phenomenon, not a product problem.
