If a class 10 doesn't work, use a UHS 3 rated memory card. (On the card it looks like a U with a 3 in it instead of a C with a 10 in it). The UHS3 is much faster. The class 10 didn't work in mine either whereas the UHS3 works great.

It is probably doing that because of file size limitations of the storage type FAT32, but the file size limitations are different depending on what type of sd card you have (SD,SDHC,SDXC). If you're shooting 4k, you're going to want to invest in a SDXC.
