Dear N.C: Our time-lapse camera requires you to prepare 12 AA alkaline batteries. If you want to buy a power adapter, its model is 6V, 1.0A. The sufficient power of 12 alkaline batteries can make the time-lapse camera use for 6 months. If you just want the time-lapse camera to operate normally in a short period of time, 4 brand new alkaline batteries can turn on our machine. Please note that you must never use rechargeable batteries, which will affect the normal use of the machine. Hope our answer can solve your doubts.
