An Excellent Tripod Head, Glad I Bought It!
This tripod head delivers exactly what the product description says it will and that is a very rare occurrence these days! I purchased this gear head shortly after I injured my shoulder and found it difficult to accurately adjust a typical ball head and this has made my landscape photography fun again and quite frankly better. The gear head allows for both macro and micro adjustment so it is as fast as adjusting a ball head, but much more accurate. And the three levels make setting up for a panoramic shot a breeze! This is an excellent choice for landscape photography, astro-photography and more.
The build quality is very good and that is typical of K&F products. The adjustments are precise and consistent and when you lock it in, it stays locked in, no slip or drift. The adjustment knobs, both macro & micro, are easily gripped even when wearing gloves and out in the cold. The only concern is the gear heads weight, but while it is a tad heavier than say a ball head it is considerably lighter than most if not all of its competition and it still has a high quality build!
When I was looking for a gear head I was put off by the price of them in general but K&F was the lowest cost I found. Now I have to admit that actually worried me at first but I do trust K&F and after using this head for quite some time I must say that I am thrilled at the usefulness and quality of this unit for such a reasonable price.
If you are looking at geared tripod heads you would be well served getting this one. I know you'll be as I am with mine.

Works smoothly and accurately
I bought this to use for astrophotography, and then I discovered how useful a geared head is for lots of other things--almost any time you want to aim accurately and have the camera stay in place with no sagging. It's especially nice with long lenses where a small movement can move the subject right out of the frame.
The main exception is when you want to be able to aim the camera quickly, such as for following a moving subject, and then have it stay put when you let go of it. That's when a gimbal head like the Movo GH700 MK II comes into its own. (You can pay a lot more for a gimbal head, but this one works for me and my budget.
The K&H geared head moves smoothly in all directions and the releases that allow you to make large changes without endless knob turning work well.

I really like this Geared Tripod Head! I first purchased a Neewer geard head and it was very nice: but I did not like the quick release knobs because while they worked ok they were stiff and pretty hard on the hands. K&F Concept solved this issue- this gear head is easy to use and very accurate! I think with a little practice it'll be every bit as fast to use as the ball head it replaced. Workmanship looks and feels great. I also like that the Arca Swiss mount screw is 'where it should be,' facing the user instead of in front.

I really like this geared tripod head. It is a 3 axis rotating head. It has bubble levels. Also if you turn the knobs it is micro movement and the tabs are for speedy placement. It's a pretty versatile product. It has degrees on each axis so if you are trying to line up a telescope it comes in handy. It is useful for photography too if you need precision angles to line up your shots. It is good quality, and it seems like it will last. Nice color too, the orange and black matches my tripod. K and f puts out some good stuff.
