For someone whose previous career has been dealing with offshore supply chain, I do know how to calculate the cost of goods.
That said, at first I thought this plate is a bit pricey, but again...nowadays almost everything are over-priced.
Appearance-wise, this plate looks exactly the same as the original mounting plate, but when you compare this side by side with the original, you can tell immediately: not only this mounting plate quality is more solid and it weights more than the original mounting plate comes with the tripod.
