I was able to use this tripod on a recent shoot in Lima, Peru. This time I had to trust it with my light and soft-box and it held up very well. Found it sturdy and stable overall thanks to the rubber on the feet that can be adjusted to be used or not according to the terrain.

I was surprised by its height. Very tall when fully extended so we decided to used it for the flash instead of the original light stand, because the tripod was taller and more functional.

I do mostly video so the fluid head is a must for me and so far movements are smooth. Plus, handling and moving the parts was easy thanks to the shape and the quality material used in the detachable parts. All in all, for the price, it accomplished its purpose and even managed to surprise me.

This tripod and head combo surprised me. Very sturdy, smooth to adjust, and the K&F FH-03 head holds my Sony camera perfectly. The quick-release and the metal build feel premium. Light enough to carry around the studio but solid when fully extended. Great value for the price—definitely recommend.

The tripod is very compact and light. I like that I can convert it into a monopod if I wanted to. Setting the tripod up was quick and easy. Putting it back into the bag is just as easy. The tripod head movement is smooth and quiet. The tripod looks and feels good. The bottom of the tripod legs are metal spikes which will dig into dirt etc for better stability.

Bought this for weekend shoots and it’s been a total win, lightweight enough to toss in any bag, folds down tiny, and feels rock-solid once the legs are spread.
What I love:
Sturdiness – Held my mirrorless steady in gusty wind; no wobble.
Portability – At 2.6 lbs it disappears in my pack.
Lockability – The plates snap into the legs with a satisfying click; zero slip.

One honest hiccup: the quick-release plate. Out of the box it’s more “eventual-release” than quick.

This has fast become my go-to tripod! Thoroughly impressed with how sturdy it is for it's size and weight. The design has so many carefully thought-out features. Some highlights for me are:
- The head is so smooth with the hydraulic damping. When filming a moving subject the head movement is perfectly fluid without any bumps. Locking and unlocking the gears is easy with a few quick turns.
- The height that it can extend to is insanely long! So much versatility in how high or low you want to shoot.
- It feels really sturdy and yet still very light. The feet even have retractable spikes if you need to dig it into softer ground.
- One of the legs can unscrew off to become a monopod! So handy having that in one piece of gear.
- The legs and head have great range in positioning. Any angle I could think of to shoot the tripod was able to adjust to.
- Folds down into a compact size with a included bag for easy portability.

Overall, this is a solid choice for a tripod. I highly recommend it.

I recently acquired K&F Concept 83 Video Tripod. I am photographer and don’t do much video. But when I do, my tripod which is geared mostly for photos, did not yield good results. That’s one reason I wanted a dedicated video tripod for those occasions where I use my camera (soccer, school plays etc). I wanted a small, portable yet sturdy that operates smoothly while panning the camera. Also I did not want to spend an arm and leg. That’s when I ran into this tripod. This not only checked all boxes but within my price range. I was not expecting much given the price and all the features listed. But after receiving it and setting it up. I am pleasantly surprised. Tripod came in a cardboard box with a carrying case and a wrench. Tripod has aluminum body so it’s slightly heavier than a typical carbon fiber model. It’s much lighter than the aluminum tripod I had earlier. If you haven’t read the details, you could easily think of it’s a carbon fiber model. I felt more confident with its weight as it presented with a much better build quality. Coming to tripod legs, they are strong, with leg locks. I like these locks much better than the regular twisty cylindrical/rotating locks. This tripod leg locks have resistance and give you a Solid click sound when you engage them. When the tripod is fully extended. It becomes 83 inch tall behemoth making you look like a lilliput. While it’s good to know it can go that tall, I would never go beyond 72 inches in practical use. Now coming to the best part of the tripod - it’s head moves buttery smooth when you pan. Using handle on this tripod to pan the camera is a joy which I really missed while using a camera tripod. The upward and downward motion is also smooth. The arca Swiss compatible plate is a machine finished aluminum, unlike the regular plasticky ones that you find on other tripods. Now coming to color scheme on the tripod, when I saw on the pictures, I felt it’s cheesy until I saw the tripod in hand. After assembling and looking at the tripod, it’s black legs, coupled with orange accents along with aluminum finished tripod plate, I kind of liked the overall color scheme. It looks and feels like a premium build. I took this to film a community event in my neighborhood and performed flawlessly! By the way did I mention, it comes with a carry bag made with strong denier fabric. Overall I am more than pleasantly surprised with this tripod in terms of its quality, function and affordability. If you are in the market for a video tripod, you should seriously look this K&F concept 83 tripod. It’s an affordable premium quality video tripod. You will not be disappointed!

Very high quality video tripod. It packs small and is very stable. The video pan and tilt is very smooth and easy to lock for static shots. Includes a nice carrying bag also. A bonus is that one of the legs is a removable monopod. The support legs can be adjusted to narrow or wide stance easily.

Just what I was looking for. I needed a sturdy tripod that could handle my huge Canon 1DX with my Tamron 70-200mm attached and this tripod handles it great. Everything from the bag to build looks like quality. Adjusting everything was fast and easy. I'm definitely happy about my purchase.

Its quite a nice small lightweight tripod. Good for small cameras and travel. Packs up to a compact size and can extend to a large size. Construction is solid metal.

The tripod head is easily the best part. Its very small and surprisingly smooth. Contains an arca swiss standard plate mount.

Only con i would say is that the feet are spiked which can be trouble for those working indoor on hard floor. This tripod is definitely meant For travel and outdoor work.

Pretty solid tripod for the price! I like it’s metal construction, I feel very comfortable having my Sony a7iv with Sigma 70-200 on it without worrying about it jiggling or collapsing. The fluid head is also pretty solid for the price, especially on the tilt axis. Often times I wish the pan had a friction adjuster so I could achieve smooth horizontal motion in videos; all it has is a screw to lock it down, but for the price I can’t really complain. Overall, solid product when compared to others (such as NEEWER) in the same price range. Would recommend.

Also, bonus, it still seems very stable when extended to max height. Not common with budget tripods. I do wish the legs had a locking mechanism though, so they couldn’t accidentally collapse closed, but it does make setup more efficient.
