This filter adds a really nice, subtle warmth to photos without going overboard. It’s not one of those effects that completely changes the look of an image — it just softens things slightly and gives highlights a warmer, more pleasing tone. I especially notice it in lighter areas and backgrounds, where the warmth comes through in a very natural way.

I already own a few filters from this brand and, as expected, the build quality is excellent. The glass feels solid, the coating looks clean and even, and the threads are smooth. Just make sure you order the correct size for your lens, and when installing it, screw it on gently and you’re good to go.

I tested it in the exact same lighting conditions with and without the filter, and the difference is easy to see once you know what to look for. The image with the filter has a slightly warmer feel, especially noticeable in lighter details and background areas. It gives photos a bit of a vintage or cinematic touch without sacrificing sharpness. The top picture is without the gold filter while the bottom picture is with it, both have the exact same lighting. Note how the cow's horns as well as the backgroud are a bit warmer in the bottom picture - that's what this filter does. It's subtle, but warmer. And I anticipate this effect to be more noticeable outside in the sun.

Overall, I’m very happy with this filter. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do, feels well made, and is a great addition if you like a warmer, softer look straight out of camera.
