Fits perfectly, has some slight play if forced to move, but has a good hold. Several mounting points for extra accessories and deferent mounting positions. A quick release mount is provided as well a few replacement wind reduction guards. Battery, buttons, and charging port are accessible. Well designed for functionality, a screw pin provides extra security preventing the latch from popping open accidentally. Looks and feels sturdy, protecting the camera from a hard impact if dropped. Rubber cover fits well and snug over lens protectors, w/o lens protectors the cover is quite loose. Just slide, lock, and mount.

Purchased this for my X5. I’m very impressed.Be careful, this is specifically designed for each model.The camera fits snuggly and the clamp closes in place. I did not know this was quick release either which makes it even a better bargain.made of metal, this is a no brainer to anyone who has this camera.it does come with a ton of accessories which I have not had the time to look through; however, This cage and lens cap alone makes this worth it.

I recently bought a new Insta360 X5 camera and wanted a cage to protect it, and add more mounting points as well. I decided to try this one and I am glad I did, because it works perfectly. The camera fits perfect inside the case, and it seems very durable. The cage itself is very lightweight. I prefer having the cage on my camera as it offers better protection than without it. I am glad it also comes with a new rubber lens cover as well, because that is needed if you use the cage with the camera to protect the lens. Good cage for this camera.

This cage fits perfectly on my camera without blocking any buttons or ports. It feels solid, and the silicone lens cover keeps the lenses safe at all time. It does make the camera a little heavier, but I think its worth it to have excellent protection for this expensive camera.I love the mounting options and the extra cold shoe locations. I think this was a great purchase for my camera.

K&F make some good stuff! This no exception. Strong and solid in a very dark metal give a feeling of quality.Well thought out it reminds me of one of the Flymile cages to some degree.Well equipped with cold shoe and quarter thread mounts and a nice little locking bolt for the release mechanism. All well presented at an attractive price.Recommended!

I wanted a cage for additional protection against the chance of dropping the Insta360 X5. It fits into the cage perfectly allowing access to the ports, battery compartment, buttons and buttons. It is accompanied by a lens cover made of silicone.The battery comes out just as easily as it does out of case. Buttons are easily accessible.There are different areas for mounting this caged camera for versatility.You will need a case specifically designed for a caged Insta360 X5.Definitely recommend this.NOTE: the lens covers are not included. I got those separately.

This will prevent your x5 from getting crushed from the side, but not head on impact. whereas your typical phone case has a lip that extends further than your phone so it never makes contact with the surface it falls on. Maybe it doesnt have a lip to stay invisible to the lenses?otherwise love that it has built in attachment ports on the bottom and side to connect your gear.it also has foam windmuffs on 2 spots to dampen wind sound.the rubber lens cap that comes with it falls off pretty easily but does its job. Overall I trust K&F concept designs though, so I'll report back how it holds up if knock on wood happens
