This is an awesome Insta360 x5 Lens Guard Kit. It comes with protector guards for the screen and both lenses. The installation process is pretty easy and cleaning wipes are provided. Once installed, the fit is good. I did accidently tipped my camera over once while it was mounted on a tripod and I did not notice any damages on the lens guard. I really like having the piece of mind these guards gives me. I find this to be a very good value for what it offers.

These are life savers if you have an Insta 360 action cam. I like the fact that this came with a nice cover as well, but the lens and screen guards are great. I have cracked several, and they are easy to replace. I should ad, that I have cracked several from hard use, rock climbing, drops, etc, and they absolutely serve the purpose as a protector and sacrificial lens. They break, but your lens is safe. I keep spares in my kit for my outings as I know I will drop, bang, dent, knock my camera again, and will have them at the ready. They work well and there is no noticeable distortion or coloration in the picture that I can tell. Nice case as well, when you do not want to have the whole hard case out there with you on a day hike or quick adventure. Highly recommended.

Every camera should have guards. These fit very well and protect. Great overall quality. Happy to recommend!

I already own the glass version of these exact lens guards also from K&F and they work great. Not perfect as is the case with all of these lens guards, but they work as well as expected while deteriorating the image as minimal as possible. The plastic aren’t as good as the glass version and for the price, even though these come with screen protectors, I would suggest going with the premium glass version instead. Nothing wrong with these, but given the choice and price, go with the glass.

Excellent replacement lens guards. These actually feel more secured with a tighter fit than the original guards that came with my camera bundle. Image from camera is perfect with these attached. The screen protector is a perfect fit as well. Just remember to clean the screen before applying and take you time to get the best fit without air bubbles. I would definitely recommend these replacements for your Insta360 X5.

I had ordered this kit for my Insta360 X5 to help protect the lens. I found that the lens guards were a perfect fit for the camera and twisted on perfectly, engaging the camera tightly and cleanly. Sadly, these provided the image defect in the video, where you can see the seam between lenses. I was hopeful that these would be the ones that worked as good as bare lens, but these are not them. Don't get me wrong, they provide good protection and worked well in our adventures, but you really need to be aware of the defect when you are shooting video and editing it later. I didn't use the screen protector, but it does fit the camera correctly and would be easy to apply. I felt that this kit was a good value and offers a lot of protection for your Insta360 X5. I carry a lens cloth and wipe them down frequently. When not in use, I just place the x5 in the soft case, with the guards installed. I love my K&F soft shell for the X5, so I was hopeful here. These guards install cleanly, the threads engage smoothly, and the kit includes microfiber cloths and wipes. Packaging is tidy. As lens protection, they do the job.Image quality is where the tradeoff shows up. With the guards on, the seam between the two lenses is more obvious than bare glass. You don’t have to go looking for it. If you’re shooting in one direction or using single-lens modes, you won’t notice. In full 360°, you will. This matches what I’ve seen with other third-party guards that look almost identical, which makes me think many are coming from the same mold.The listing mentions “Intelligent Recognition” and a Lens Guard Mode that should auto-correct the panoramic seam. My X5 didn’t auto-switch, and I couldn’t find any setting that changed the behavior. If there’s a toggle, it's not obvious to me, and the stitching still showed a clear seam with these on.Tips that actually help- Use them when protection matters most: travel, crowds, MTB, sandy or dusty spots- For critical footage, remove them to get the cleanest stitch- Keep the guards perfectly clean and fully seated; tiny smudges make the seam pop- Try to rotate the camera as you shoot so the stitch line runs through empty space, not faces or text- Avoid bright light sources straddling the seam line to reduce flares and reflections (annoying)Pros- Real protection for those expensive (but luckily now replacable!) fisheye lenses- Easy screw-on install- Nice kit with cleaning supplies and good packagingCons- Noticeable seam in 360° footage- “Intelligent Recognition” didn’t seem to do anything on my X5- Looks and performs like other third-party guards I’ve triedGreat protection and a clean kit, but expect more visible stitching artifacts in 360°. The low-profile design is noticeably sleeker compared to others I've tested, and they’ve been reliably detected by the camera upon powering on without impacting video quality.It's reassuring to know the lenses are protected, especially when operating a $500 camera just inches from surfaces while mounted on an 8 foot stick. These guards attach easily with a simple clockwise twist from the 4 to 6 o’clock position, locking securely into place.The included screen protector is also a valuable addition, particularly since the X5’s screen cannot be replaced to my knowledge. Installation was straightforward, thanks to the included cleaning and installation kits. This type of protection is often missed but yet it makes a big difference.The kit even comes with two sets of lens guards and two screen protectors, offering backup in case of scratches or wear. Overall, this is the most complete and well-designed glass protection kit I’ve found for my X5. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to safeguard their camera too.
