High-quality polarizing filter
Since I've been a semi-professional photographer for many years, I own a few good filters for various tasks. Many of them have become somewhat obsolete due to digital image processing, but polarizing filters are irreplaceable when it comes to eliminating reflections. However, I've always lacked a good 67mm polarizing filter that fits my macro lens because I rarely needed it. Therefore, I gladly accepted the offer to test the 'K&F Concept True Color Polarizing Filter with Multi-Nano Coating'. The filter comes in the usual box, which contains a round storage box for the filter. It also comes with a microfiber cloth sealed in a vacuum-sealed bag.

I compared the K&F polarizing filter with my B&W filter and actually couldn't detect any difference in quality. B&W is one of the best in its class, but the filter is more than 10 years old. Back then, the same options weren't available as today, such as nano-coatings. One could say that the K&F filter is practically reflection-free, and the polarizing effect is excellent. It is, of course, a circular polarizing filter.

The filter's mechanics are also very well made, which is really important. You only have to use filters with poor threads once to know how annoying poor threads can be when screwing on and off. The thread's counterpart may be in a very expensive lens, which you don't necessarily want to ruin. Polarizing filters also have a rotating ring, which should be neither too heavy nor too easy to turn. If it's too heavy, you'll constantly unscrew the filter from the lens; if it's too easy, it will adjust itself. The K&F polarizing filter moves smoothly in this position and with just the right amount of "lock." The light rubber coating on the rotating part is very pleasant, making adjustments easy.

My conclusion: Quality has its price, and the 'K&F Concept True Color Polarizing Filter' is certainly not a bargain. But it's worth every penny. A filter that ruins the image with poor optical quality instead of improving it is pointless. A filter that's difficult to handle simply gets on your nerves when taking photos. That's why you spend as much as you need for quality. With the K&F polarizing filter, everything just fits perfectly. That's why I'm happy to give it 5 stars and a 100% recommendation.
