  • • Ultra slim frame, only 4mm thickness.Double side 18-layer coated,water repellent,anti-oil,anti-dust,anti-soil,scratch resistant.
  • • Ultra slim rim profile to avoid vignetting on wide angle lenses, while maintaining rotation capabilities to adjust polarization levels. Extra tough Magnalium frame ensuring great durability and jamming prevention.
  • • Circular CPL filters allow you to remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass et. They also enable colors to become more saturated and appear clearer with better contrast. This effect is often used to increase the contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds.
  • • NOTE: This filter is compatible with all 49mm lenses. Please verify your camera's lens thread size before ordering. Your camera's lens thread size will be marked somewhere on the lens barrel or printed underneath your lens cap. This number is always preceded by a "Ø" (diameter) symbol. For example: Ø49= 49mm lens thread size.
What is a CPL?
The use of lens filters can transform your photograph completely, as it allows you to go beyond the usual and explore something creative with your gear. Among multiple filters, a circular polarizing filter (CPL) is one such creative tool using which you can enhance the final photo that appears on your camera LCD screen.
With the use of a Circular Polarizing filter (CPL) on your lens, you can enhance the colors in the sky as well as the elements in your frame. This is made possible as the CPL filter, when rotated at a particular angle minimizes the haze in the sky and enhances the color by reducing the polarization effect caused by sunlight.
Enhancing colors and increasing contrast
Discussing the two images above, you can clearly see how mounting the CPL filter almost completely eliminates the reflection visible in the water body. Isn’t that magical?
Dramatically reducing reflections
Using a CPL filter can allow you to minimize the mirror image being caused by in the reflective element in your frame. All you have to do is simply rotate the filter to the required angle.
A CPL Filter Cuts Reflections
While taking photos of glass buildings or landscapes with a water body in the frame, it can be really challenging to get rid of the reflections being caused by sunlight. You might have to change your composition or wait for the light to change in order to get a reflection-free image.

Inexpensive, well made CPL Filter
Build quality is comparable to B+W MRC Nano XS-Pro and Hoya HD. I have not noticed any objectionable color cast when used for landscape photography. The attached scene was shot with the 49mm K&F Concept Circular Polarizer (1/60 sec exposure) and without it (1/30 sec exposure) for comparison. The sky, vegetation and water all show distinct effects of reduction of polarized light.

Definitely helped
I used this Polarizer filter on my sony alpha 7 iii with Zeiss 55mm 1.8. Comparing with filter and without filter, I noticed that the picture has more contrast with filter. When I tested the new filter on my camera, i also noticed it helped reduce the reflection as well. Good quality and value. Definitely helped.

As Good as it Gets
As a retired photographer I have long been a user of B+H on every thing from Hasselblad to Nikon and others but now I didn't want to stretch my budget and look for something a little more reasonable. I have this on a Sony A6000 Mirrorless and definitely have no issues with it. The rotation is smooth with just the right give to not drop it out of place and super thin even so much as to sometimes end up turning the step ring, but that just my big fingers. So I could use it on two different lenses I mount it on a 49-40.5 step ring and see not glare or vignette. Screwing it on is also smooth and easy with no thread binding.I definitely recommend this and have found a new go to company.
Great Circular Polarizer!
Great price and value combination. Feels and appears to be well made. Tested outdoors on a very sunny afternoon and it dramatically cut out reflections and enhanced the color of the sky without compromising image quality. Adjustment feels nice and smooth. Definitely recommend.
Difficult to remove
The base screw is so thin it is very difficult to remove, especially on my sony Zeiss 55mm F1.8 lens where the lens itself has a part that protrudes out, limiting our reach into the base of the filer. My advice is screw this on very loosely for easier removal. And use non-slip cloth to remove it.
