The "K&F Concept universal 5V/3W solar panel for surveillance camera outdoor rechargeable battery" delivered here made a good optical and qualitative impression after unpacking. The solar panel supplied here is the same panel that I already use on one of my outdoor cameras. The panel has been doing a good job there for months and supplies the connected camera with power. And that's exactly what the new panel is supposed to do. I still have a camera in the garden that runs on battery but has to be charged every few days. I would now like to eliminate this with this solar panel and its built-in battery. Blessing in disguise. The solar panel still has a micro USB connection, but the camera also has that where the solar panel is to be operated. The package also includes a holder for the solar panel, a template, 4 screws and 3 dowels. But you only need 3 screws and 3 dowels, if at all. The solar panel is also weatherproof, so that it can be used all year round. After about 3 weeks of use, I can now say that everything works as I imagined. The camera does a good job and has not had to be connected to the separate power cable since. For me, that means the solar panel works with the camera without any problems. We are very satisfied. Conclusion: ideal for powering a surveillance camera.
