I love Sony F batteries and I use them for everything from LED lights, my camera itself and charging up my phone on the go. A great benefit of this battery is that you can charge it with a standard Sony F charger, but you can also just use a phone charger in a pinch. It can also be used with any USB-C device like phones, tablets, low power laptops, bluetooth speakers etc. It also comes with a nice USB-C to C cable that is rated for 240W, even though the device itself only supports 45W of PD.

If you tap the screen it will show the charge level like I show in the video, which is not a necessary feature but it certainly isn't unwelcome. The battery lasts a long time if you use it in a camera especially, I'm using it with an adapter for a Panasonic GH5 and it lasts MANY hours recording video off and on.

That said I've been using Powerextra 8800mAh F batteries for years and while they are lower capacity they still hold up really well and get the job done for a much lower price. I have about 5 or 6 of those kicking around some of which are 3 years old, and they still hold a good charge. You can also buy a two pack of those batteries for $20 cheaper than one of these fancy bois.

The main draw and what you're paying extra for here is the USB power delivery, so if that is what you really need I recommend this! However, if you just want some decent F batteries go with the two pack of powerextras.

I’m using this as a power bank, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. This is a large, 7.4v 10,500mAh, (77.7Wh) replacement battery for the very popular NP-F970 format, which among others, fits my SONY camcorder and my portable LED photography light panels. This is also an incredible portable USB backup battery, perfect for powering or recharging mobile devices like tablets and smart phones, but really anything powered by 5v USB.

In addition to a digital display of the battery charge percentage, (activated by capacitive-touch), it has the standard two-pin camcorder charging plate on the bottom, but it also has a USB-C input port on the front, to charge the battery itself, AND it also has both a USB-C and USB-A output ports.

I have already used this to charge my iPhone several times, and will continue to recharge it until the battery is depleted. It's just a super-handy extra battery charger to have with my photo/video gear.

I got this battery to power a 5.5” external screen for my digital camera. It works well for it. The battery life is comparable to other batteries of this type that I've used. The display on the battery is very handy. It’s bright and easy to read. I like that it has multiple output ports (which are all input ports as well). Super nice. The price is in the ballpark of what I would expect to pay for a battery of this quality.

This battery comes with a nice braided USB-C cable that is about 39" long and a cover to protect the terminals. The display is easy to read, and the battery feels hefty and well built. You get one exposed USB-C input/output port, and on the other side (under the protective cover) are the USB-A and USB-C output only ports. Both USB-C ports can be used to power devices, but only the exposed USB-C port can be used to charge the battery.

After unpacking it, I topped it off from 93% to 100% in about 40 minutes, and started testing it. From the photos, you can see that it will charge my MacBook at the rated 45W using either of its USB-C ports. I can also use the USB-A port while using either USB-C ports, but then the USB-C discharge rate will drop to 15W. Not a problem, since this is a rare scenario for me. It will also power devices while it is being charged, and the wattage will show the net input wattage (charge minus discharge).

A quick tap on the logo, will display the battery percentage; and a long press will switch to wattage. I really like the wattage display since it gives me a good idea at how much power is being is going in and out of the battery. It will fast charge at 45W if you have a compatible charger.

Overall, this is a nice addition to my camera equipment and makes for a decent battery pack for charging/powering my devices in a pinch.

I had the opportunity to test this battery as a Vine item, and after using it for a short time I liked it enough to purchase a second one. The build quality is very solid and the design looks more premium than most NP-F970 style batteries I have used. The OLED indicator on top is especially useful because it shows the remaining charge level clearly, which helps a lot when planning lighting setups.

In my case, I use two of these with a V-mount converter to power a high output RGB light that requires a 14 V source. Together they provide a long runtime, and each battery holds its charge well. They also recharge quickly. With a 45 W USB C charger they go from empty to full in only a few hours.

For the price, the overall performance and flexibility make these an excellent value. The combination of fast charging, accurate power readout, and large capacity makes this battery a reliable option for video lights, monitors, or other equipment that uses the NP-F970 format.

Battery pack works great! I ended up getting this for the USB-C charging capability as it works great for a portable power bank. Overall the battery is built nicely and I'm sure it would work for the camera it is designed for. My only issue with the battery is the touch sensor for a switching between battery percentage and current power draw is a little finicky. I have to press it or hold it multiple times before it switches between displays (not sure which is the right method as both have worked?). Not really too much of a drawback though since the battery does work as expected. Overall very pleased with the battery and wouldn't be hesitant to get another.

This is the only high wattage fast charging NP-F style battery that i have personally come across. One of the main things that i disliked most about these style batteries in the past was just how long they typically took to charge, if you didn’t have the NP-F charging station. I was very shocked to see that this battery also came with a high power, 240w usb-c cable of very good quality as well.
The battery has a large capacity that is perfect for my on location video lights and it is also great for long runtimes on my Atomos Ninja recorders. It has a digital screen that displays the battery life so that you don’t have to guess at its power levels. There are a standard usb port and a usb-c port for powering and charging other devices. This is a quality battery that will now be my #1 choice over the older less capable ones that i have.

I ordered this thinking it was a power bank, and boy does it work well as one! It may not be its intended purpose but It charged two cellphones and a big mod vape at the same time and is still at %75.
