Great Customer Service
Initially the product didn't work which was a bit of a let down but after exchanging emails with a representative from the customer service team they sent out a replacement and it got delivered within 24 hours.The product itself is well made and does exactly what is advertised: HDMI (Output) to VGA (Input). In my case it didn't require the USB lead (which is provided) to power the device.

Works Very Well
I bought this cable to connect my PC's HDMI output to an older monitor which only has VGA and DVI input. The cable does the job and saves me from having to buy a new monitor with an HDMI input.

Compact and well made
Bought this to connect PCs on my work table to my ROKU TV. It was tricky to get the device connected but that's on the TV. I've had the same issue with it and other devices in the past.In order to get the ROKU TV to recognize the device, I had to remove the HDMI #2 from the settings, then attach another HDMI device to that input. Once it was recognized, I switched over to this VGA to HDMI adapter and it worked fine. Swapping out computers doesn't impact it's performance.

Wow
Good item, low latency and a good quality feelUpdate: had this item for 2 years now and i can say that it is an excellent product. It comes with a power input to the device but i have found that i don't need it in my case (xbox to an old lg flatron) it works perfectly.

It works, but not absolutely optimally
I got this device to allow me to connect my computer onto the VGA input of my TV so I can use its HDMI inputs for other devices. I've tested the device with a monitor of mine, and on it, it seems like the adapter removes some information from the signal because the colours on my display seem much less vibrant when using the adapter, but that could be because of my VGA cable too. EIther way, it's fine enough; having any degree of a display available is better than not having display available.

Works well to set up your tv for karaoke.
I liked being able to use my tv for karaoke, almost a simple set-up except for the fact that I can’t connect my blu ray surround sound player to tv and use both at the same time for the audio, I had to disconnect it from the device to get audio from my blu ray player and plug it in when I need to use just the blu ray player so, it’s great other than that the hdmi input on the device doesn’t work automatically.

A must have item. Saved me $
This saved the bell. My kids were playing by my laptop with a football while I was doing my DJ thing and all of a sudden the ball hit my audio jack which was in my audio input on my laptop which broke inside it. But thanks to this device I will not have to replace my motherboard. This was my answer to problem. It worked as described. Will buy this product again.

Convenient adaptor to allow HDMI input into a VGA
Came quickly and is exactly what I ordered. It allows for an old computer monitor to function with an HDMI input instead of VGA as most new computers and video cards lack that output. This monitor is only as a backup to allow for recovery if the normal monitor goes out so I haven’t actually used the device.
