These state that they are 40X60, shouldn't the say 10 x 60? What am i missing?

10x60 would be more accurate.No way it 40 power. I have a pair of Vortex 10X binoculars and this monocular has the same magnification. The monocular is very clear and has a sharp focus. It’s a keeper for the money.
