How do I get the two barrels to hold their position? I adjust them for proper eye spacing but as soon as I let one hand go it droops down.

It sounds as if your binoculars may be in need of service. The tension on the two barrels should be sufficient to hold their position, once angled, without having to hold them in position with your hands.

The drooping of the barrel once you adjust the position should not be happening. I would suggest that you contact the manufacture as it sounds like you have a defective product.

I have not had that problem. I would suggest that you go online, contact Celestron directly and see if it's a warranty issue. They are good with that.

I haven't had that problem with mine, my sister got the same model and didn't have an issue. You may want to contact Celestron, this sounds like a defective product. If not, maybe they can offer advice on how to fix the issue.
