Great video mic
I bought two of these mics based on the Movo promo video. When I take my smart phone out of the case the plug will fit my phone. I've changed cases twice but the sheilding on the phone end of the cable is to thick to allow it to fit.Another problem is this mic does not work with every camera that has an external mic port. I've used it with my canon dslr and it works there. However, it doesn't work on nondslr cameras.In both cases I've purchased an extension adapter and cable to try to get it to connect with my phone and other camers but nothing works.If you don't have a dslr this is not the mic for you. Unless you want to remove your Samsung Note phone from the case, this mic is not for you.Movo if you are listening, you mic feels good in the hand and is a great price. Please consider reducing the casing around the Jack so it will fit through the case. Try testing the cables on more devices and cameras. Don't limit your product. When you make it able to work with the Rodecaster Pro let me know please.
