Decent mic but becareful
I purchased this Movo VXR10 based on several reviews on youtube. After using it for a little while on my Sony 6600 and I enjoyed how it sounded. I liked the shock mount that came with the mic because it didn't bounce on the camera like some others I have had in the past. However, after using it for a few months, I noticed that I started getting a bunch of crackling in the audio. I tried several work arounds to reduce it but to no avail. The initial reviews on the mic were great and I felt it was worth the $20 savings. However, in the end the qualify of the materials seemed to shine through. So, I ended up purchasing the Rode Videomicro and it's doing well. I don't like the shock mount from the Rode however. So, I'm using the shock mount from the Movo.
