Not just for trails and woods anymore!
I bought this as a Christmas gift. I had purchased this camera based on reviews saying it was very easy to set up. I did not find it to be very easy, maybe in comparison to others it is. Once I had it figured out it worked well.

We are happy with our lavalier mic purchase.
We are using it in outdoor settings to make the sound more audible. We have shot travel vlogs and videos using the mic. We liked the clarity of sound in crowded, noisy places. We intend to use the mic in our upcoming international trip.
