Works great, the accessories are iffy
It's a pretty good light. I've got a couple of Neewer bowens mount lights and this one compares well, in terms of output. The "gels" or "diffusers" as one reviewer called them are iffy at best. They're really tight, and don't do much to change the color quality of the light... and you can't layer them. They're like little shower caps - with a comparable thickness to a shower cap as well. Some were bagged and others weren't, which seems odd, but whatever.I like the u bracket, which is different than other lamps I have, which mount underneath the lamp housing. It makes it easier to adjust the light. I didn't bother with the app, since I'm not usually near my phone when I'm filming or using lighting like this. So the additional lighting settings are a waste on me.
