Highly recommended for a set of binoculars
Bought these for a trip to Africa and was quite pleased with them. They focused easy and gave a great view, lens quality and light passage appeared excellent. My Mom was over and tried them, she had bought a pair of binoculars for quite a bit more money when they did a safari and said these were head and shoulders better than hers.I especially like the metal construction although I never had need to test its durability.

Amazing all-around Mics with caveats
Simply put these microphones are amazing. I use them daily for video production and they are small, discreet, compact, great sound, solid wireless connection, dual channel. They work insanely well. My only caveat with them is that they are too loud, even in the lowest dB setting. With my old mics I would attach the lavalier directly to the collar, whereas with these, my talent speaks fairly loud and they had to be placed at sternum level just to stop the microphone peaking.I mostly use them with lavalier extensions. They do function well on their own, however, pick up a ton of background noise if you are at a loud location. I immediately lost the mini deadcats that come with the set, so I was unable to test those. Not sure if RODE sells those accessories separately, but I'm sure they might have helped with wind noise if I was able to find them. It's awesome that these are rechargeable with a USB-C connection and we no longer have to fumble with AA batteries.Overall, the connection is superb, the ability to combine or separate channels is great with multiple talent on screen, and the sound quality is crisp and clear. Our go-to microphones!

Fantastic device for single user and home office s
Perfect for a home office. I compared the sound and mic quality against the built-in speakers and mic on my laptop, a headset, and a Jambox by recording myself doing a webinar. The recorded voice quality of the Jabra was noticeably superior to all of them. For playback, the Jambox sounded better but the Jabra was not far behind. I've been using it daily for 3 weeks and the improvement in sound quality has made my morning web meetings and conference calls significantly more productive. The microphone while sensitive, is clearly not omnidirectional and was easily tested. For a conference call where everyone is around the table, everyone will still be heard but the speakers facing the mic will sound better on the listeners on other side. If you are using the device at home and you like to stand up and walk around while being on the call, everyone on the other side will still hear and understand you, but the change in voice quality will be noticeable by the listeners. If you do speakerphone calls from your cell phone, this is a massive upgrade in sound quality.3 Year Update) Still going strong - used for several hours a day since the start of the pandemic, mostly tethered via USB to my laptop.

I love this mic
I bought the Blue Yeti to get into podcasting and to do audio for some short video projects. I expect that this microphone will work admirably for that. It installed on my MacBook Pro simply by plugging it in (I know Mac users are saying "well, duh" but as a long time Windows professional that still impresses me). I opened System Preferences and selected the Yeti for my input, checked the levels, set the gain on the back of the mic... and started being amazed by the sound it captured. Soon I was playing with the voice recognition in OS X (which I had not used before) and finding that although it was different than the Dragon software I'd used before it worked really well with the Yeti. Now I'm wanting to get back into music again, it has me excited to think what the mic can do. I'm actually wishing I had bought the Yeti Pro, but the flash sale price was too good to pass up. It's possible that this might be passed on to my son to do game review videos and I might move up to the Yeti Pro. Time will tell.

Good, but not great.
First off, if you happen to get these free, then they're an awesome product and they work on both PS5 and PS4. As with most PS products that use a USB dongle, my previous Sony platinum headset stopped working and you cant buy the dongle separately, so thought rather than paying another £150 pair of platinum headset id get these, they were cheaper and newer. So i thought they would be better. First off, they are much more comfortable to wear than the platinums, but thats where the improvements end. The sound output is much better on the platinum as is the quality of microphone and battery life. The 3D audio when compared to the platinums 7.1 sound is nowhere near as good. Unfortunately as with the platinum, you need to use a Bluetooth dongle. Why u need to use dongles when the PS has bluetooth capability, leads me to belive its just a money making scam, the dongles dont last long and you cant buy them separately. So overall i would say if your looking to buy these, pay the little bit extra and get the much superior PS Platinum headset.

Surprisingly powerful for a small mic
I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much. Depending on my task, I typically use the microphone from my gaming headset, or my webcam. The webcam mic is alright. Clear enough, but super light and tinny. I use it for voice calls. I tend to use the headset while gaming, because the mic is clearer, but also a lets in a lot of background noise so I'm stuck using push to talk. This is a game changer. Clear, slightly resonant sound, with little to no background noise. It ever so slightly colors my voice, but in a way that's very flattering. If you're after super true super clear voice reproduction, I honestly think this is an awesome pick.It comes packages in a lovely little velvet case, and includes an extra foam filter and an adapter that allows you to use it in a standard 3.5mm jack, as opposed to it's native mobile phone style jack.I received this as part of a promotion, and honestly I'm glad I participated. Well worth the money and the time, if you ask me.

Great for remote workers
I work remotely full-time and am often in meetings that require a microphone. Historically, I've worn a headset--but if you're in six hours of meetings everyday, that can get uncomfortable, especially if you wear glasses. So, I went looking for an affordable standalone mic. This one is great!Very easy to set up. You can definitely spring for an arm to clamp it to your desk, but I actually just have it sitting on my desk next to me, and that works good enough. If I don't mute, other folks in the meeting can still hear me when I'm typing, but it's no louder than if we were sitting in a conference room together. It is nowhere near as distracting. My only complaint is that there's a red light on the mute button, and that light is pretty bright. There is no on/off switch, so to make the light go off, you have to unplug the mic from whatever you have it connected to.That, for me, is extremely annoying. I ended up just putting some electrical tape over the light to make it less distracting.

Pretty nice cam
I gave this a 4 instead of 5, but I offer the immediate disclaimer that the missing star is probably operator error. I did have some issues setting it up and figuring it out, but I have never done one before and I am sure I made some rookie mistakes. The user manual is weak, but again, if you already know about webcams, it probably says all it needs to. I am trying to make a video and haven't mastered the microphone yet - it's almost unusable. But Youtube masters suggest to never use the mic on any webcam anyway, so I suspect this one is no less than any others. Much of what I thought 'wasn't working' was actually just that it is slower than I expected, and I just wasn't giving it enough time to process my requests. The one final thing I would mention, however, that gave me fits until I found it in the instructions is that to launch the cam process, you have to RIGHT click the icon on the task bar. Counterintuitive because most programs are opened with a left click.

This thing is AWESOME
I ordered this item for use in my elementary school classroom. I thought it would come in handy for a lot of different things – not just karaoke. I found that my students like to read aloud, especially if they get a microphone! This machine has two nice mics and we use them to amplify their voices when reading (and have fun doing so!). I find it’s handy to have a mic and amplifier for my own voice for special events and this works well for that. The mics are housed right in the speaker and it’s compact and easy to carry and store. It is also a breeze to set up, and I have found that the rechargeable battery lasts a long time. I use it as a music player without the mics and the sound is good. Not to mention the kids love doing karaoke with this machine! I love it, too. I would recommend this item to anyone considering it. It’s nice-looking, compact, easy to carry, sounds great, and the batteries last a long time. Connecting to the speaker via Bluetooth is easy and operation of the machine for karaoke is simple after that – just turn those microphones on and away you go! Thanks.
