A Decent Mid-Budget Tripod, But Look Elsewhere for the Best
I am returning this item as it is not as versatile as it could be.The quick release plate does not inspire confidence: while some tripods have a "click" to indicate a proper fit, I needed to pull a few times to make sure (perhaps I am too cautious – I have an expensive camera and do not want to take any chances).The legs themselves are built have limited range. They work fine for most situation, but in the 20% of situations where you need to be creative with leg placement (on rocks or non-flat/uneven surfaces), the tripod is difficult to handle.Nevertheless, this tripod is good for the amateur, and while I am returning it, I think it has a good build quality, will do the job it is advertised for, and seems like it would last long.
