I've owned several projectors in the past, the last one I purchased around a year and a half ago. I've learned the hard way and would like to pass this onto you so you don't have to.Things to look out for when buying a projector:A built in speakerA GOOD zoom function1080p HDIncluded screenIncluded tripodThis projector has them all. The lighting is very clear, even when the room is not fully dark. We currently have it set up in our living room (where it's not pitch black all day). When I first purchased I thought the "HD" was just some marketing gimmic but after experiencing my last non HD projector-- it's night and day. This thing is clear and the zoom works fantastic! Our family loves it!

 I’m really impressed with this WiMius S26 projector. I’d never heard of WiMius before, but checked out the brand after I came across this model and felt more than comfortable buying it, based on the fact that WiMius is a well regarded and established company, with many different models. So many equipment manufacturers are making fly-by-night knockoffs or rebrand other no name projectors. These guys really do design and manufacture video equipment.The S26 has a small footprint and weight - noted as an outdoor or portable projector, and since it comes in a very nice backpack, it really could travel well, although the features and tech specs make it suitable for a legit home theater set up.The picture is bright, and can be scaled to be quite large, with excellent clarity, with the 1080p native resolution and support for 4K imaging. I have not used a 4K source, but assume it would look as good or better than a 1080 feed.Accessories include the afore mentioned case, remote (but not the 2 AA batteries required), a good quality HDMI cable, a very handy AV break-out cable, a maintenance kit, and a well written multilingual manual.There are 2 HDMI ports, 2 USB-A ports, AV in, and audio out in a well located panel on the side. This and the easy input selection via the remote make this projector perfect for a hard installation.There is a screw foot adjustment on the front, IR receivers on both the front and back, and redundant controls on the top of the projector and remote, adding to the projector’s flexibility and ease of operation.The built in speaker (mono) is smartly rear mounted, and is sufficient for a small group, but like with any projector, you’ll want to outboard the audio to a proper sound system. I had a problem getting audio into the projector via HDMI from my Verizon cable box, because the S26 does not handle Dolby, which is noted in the Amazon listing as well as the manual. The fix is to simply turn off Dolby on the source; a setting I have yet to find on the cable box menu, so still working on that.The on screen menu is easy to navigate, with and has many setting adjustments including brightness, contrast, etc, audio EQ, and excellent keystone adjustment.All in all, the S26 is a really versatile video projector that delivers great video quality that is suitable for a home theater setup, and portable enough for business presentation or an impromptu movie night in a friend’s home.

Gave this as a belated anniversary present to my brother and sister-in-law. They spruced up their backyard this year and with the pandemic, we would hangout in their backyard with my nieces, my partner and parents. To enjoy their backyard more, got this GOODEE projector just in time for a family birthday and the release of Mulan. This projector was easy to set-up out of the box! Set it up with large speakers for that surround sound movie theater feel! Picture was clear and everyone got a good viewing angle from where they were seated.4 stars only because we are still in the process of figuring out how to adjust picture color. Also, still figuring out how projector speakers work because it didn’t seem to work after unplugging the external speakers. I’ll update my review once we get this to work.

I was hesitant to spend so much on a projector when I had never used one before. After spending a couple days, I decided to try this one. My biggest worry was the image not being in focus and the text on the screen (I am a closed captioning user) not being clear.LET ME TELL YOU - I have absolutely zero difficulty seeing the text nor do I have any frustration with the image not being as crisp as I want it to be.I bought a Roku and the projector functions like a perfectly normal TV! I am so so so pleased with my purchase and couldn’t have asked for a better fit for the space.The projector is clear in how to use it and how to it set up. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a TV alternative.

The projector sound bothers at a certain point. Whenever technology does it work. I would definitely get the better version. Other than that my partner and I enjoy watching our series often.

I'm try to watch movies,streamed/casted from my mobile phone, to the wifi/Bluetooth abilities our projector has..We're able to stream "90%OF YOUTUBE VIDEOSBUT SADLY CAN'T STREAM NETFLIX, HULU,OR ANYOTHER STREAMING MOVIES APP..I UNDERSTAND LAWS AND CERTAIN THING'S CANT BE SHOWN WITHOUT PERMISSION THE COMMENTS IVE READ ABOUT THIS PRODUCTS LOWS INCLUDING MY SE ISSUE BEING STATED HERE....THE PICTURE QUALITY IT'S SELF IS GREAT. THE SOUND AWESOMEBUT IF IM PAYING ALREADY FOR MANY OF THE VIDEOSTREAMING APPS,I SHOULD BE ABLE TO STREAM WITHOUT ISSUE'S TO MY PHONE TO MY PROJECTOR....THATS ONLY 1THING I DISLIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT..Crossing fingers won't have same issue when I connect my ps4 up to this projector also..

I ordered this projector expecting to maybe get 720p. This projector makes an excellent 1080p picture. The kick stand works amazing. I can place it on the floor and shine it at the wall and angle the picture and it looks just like normal. The settings are very self explanatory which makes it easy to set up. The remote is very responsive. I like the added feature of being able to stream your phone to it using screencast. I watched one of the Stanley Cup Games from beginning to end and the projector did not heat up, or over heat. The picture stayed clear the entire time. No dimming or anything during the entire game. I highly recommend this product. For 1080p this was perfect with no dimming and the sound is pretty good. I hooked up external speakers to it to get better sound which worked fine as well.

At $60 you can't really get any less expensive and expect much.It really couldn't be any easier to set-up. There is a power cord in the box and a remote to control the input, menu, and power. I was able to plug in to my home theater computer and the HDMI input recognized the source immediately.The projector is light and seems durable enough. There is a dust cap to keep the lens clean while transporting, the highest native resolution, and max support resolution is 1980x1080. You can watch movies/television via connection with a TV, computer, streaming stick, connect to your android or iPhone or video player. You also have the capability to view content stored on USB or Micro SD cards.The size of your image is solely dependent on your distance from the screen. While most true theater purists would tell you that any digital adjustment to the picture size invites picture imperfections, this is just a case where the picture options are basic. My theater screen is 100" so I set the projector on top of my table to set the projector on and use the single height foot to angle the image up and correct with keystone, image is pretty good no complaints.I bought this for my granddaughters to watch their favorite shows.Would I recommend this? I would not doubt but depending on what you're looking to use it for. This would be a great way to keep kids entertained by hooking up a Wii or Switch. Also an affordable outdoor projector and for taking on a camping trip.Great little portable projector
