worked great with no need for power.
I was having problems with the HDMI port on my projector, so I used this adapter to connect my amazon fire TV stick to the vga port and it worked perfectly with no need to use power for the adapter. I used Bluetooth connectivity from the fire stick for sound so can't comment on the sound output of this adapter.

Easy set-up!
My laptop is older and didn't have an HDMI port, so I needed a way to use an HDMI connected projector in a classroom. This was an inexpensive, easy way to get what I needed without getting a new computer.

Vga to hdmi cable, plug and play. Great price.
It works as stated I have no problem with this cable. This cable works only as vga to hdmi, not hdmi to vga. From your pc or laptop that has the vga input than connect it to your monitor, tv, or projector with an hdmi port.

This cable enabled me to connect my laptop (HDMI) to an old monitor that didn’t have an HDMI port.

So far so good
This connected! The trick was the usb. I have 2 of the same screens each with hdmi ports, but only 1 hdmi port on my desktop. After 3 failed cord attempts, I tried this one with a usb power and it did the job. Connected 1st screen through hdmi/hdmi port and 2nd screen through hdmi/vga port and usb. Connected. So far so good.

This hdmi female to vga female adapter works ok
Works just as advertised. Just what I needed to connect my laptop to a projector that didn't have an HDMI input port.

Ideal for travel
Pretty good mini projector. Ideal for travel thanks to its small and compact size. It has different connections such as usb port, hdmi and rca which makes it very versatile. As if that were not enough, it has a remote control
