I needed a sturdy yet compact and reliable tripod
after doing some research and read lots of product descriptions, I ended purchasing this little gem. I do backpacking and hike very often, I needed a sturdy yet compact and reliable tripod. this one is excellent. The DSLR camera and lens that I normally take with me weighs about 4lb and I can tell that the ball head has no problems at all supporting an even a bit heavier equipment. I found some videos from people that said is only for a mirrorless size of a camera but believe me, this one does the job. is not the lightest tripod on the market but I found the difference in weight is only 300g from a more expensive tripod of same size and characteristics. The tripod feels well constructed in your hand and performance. If you're not used to twist locks, just give it a couple of tries until you feel safe enough to let go. overall is a good purchase and I am happy. I also had some questions with regards to additional accessories for the tripod and the people of K&F is super responsive and helpful very good customer service
