A versatile camera backpack
I was looking for an everyday backpack with the bonus of being able to throw in my camera in case I want to take a photo here and there. This bag serves the purpose very well. The bag was well-constructed and well-padded (really thick layers!). Lots of pockets for my gears including a separated layer for my laptop. Also, the slots were removable and customizable. Onc thing to be aware of, there is no belt for the tripod. I don't mind since I have a separated one for my tripod. Overall, a great backpack.

Lens Cap Keeper Does the Job
I based my own purchase of these items on the reviews I saw on Amazon. I needed a product that would secure the lens cap when I take a photo on the fly. Having recently lost a lens, I decided to replace it and found that the replacement lens that had been purchased from Digital Goja was very well reviewed. I saw that some folks who had bought the replacement lens from Digital Goja had also purchased and appreciated the lens cap keepers. I bought both and couldn’t be more pleased. The replacement cap fits perfectly and I’ve placed the “keepers” on 3 of my lens caps and I’ve found that they do EXACTLY what I needed. No more fumbling to find a pocket for the cap. Now when I take off the lens cap I can immediately focus on capturing the picture. Both a great products and Digital Goja delivered them a full week before they were promised. I also really like the lens cloth that came with each product. This is a fine company.

Hidden Gem!
I think this lens gets overshadowed by the L variant. I have owned the L version (and really liked it), but wanted something a bit lighter and a bit less flashy. Enter the 70-300 f/4-5.6 IS Mark II...The AF is blindingly fast! I mean this lens focuses and locks on target faster than you can blink! The Nano USM truly performs! I have found my images to have very nice colors and contrast, and very good sharpness. Although not an L lens, the back of the lens has a sealed rear element, which does a fantastic job of keeping dust out of the lens. The lens is light, but no too light, and feels solid in construction. The zoom ring is nicely damped, and turns just as smooth as the L lens.Tracking on my 6D II with this lens has been superb! My keeper rate percentage when photographing sports or wildlife is easily in the upper 90s. The Image Stabilization is just perfect. Hand-held shots at 300mm are a breeze!Overall, this lens is a fantastic value! Fast, fast, fast AF with sharp and rich colorful images, superb Image Stabilization, and all in a relatively compact and solidly made body.

LOVE
I absolutely LOVE this lens. I take it with me everywhere. It is a must have for anyone with a dslr camera. I love how lightweight it is too. Easy to pack and carry around. It can be very versatile and I'm still figuring out different ways to properly use it. I will say during video mode, it does make noise every time it focuses. It can be irritating for "home videos" but if you plan to remove the original sound for something else then the noise shouldn't be a problem. It does focus pretty fast. Highly recommend this lens.

Sharp and fast with excellent build quality
I have owned this lens since February 2005 and have used it exclusively with a Canon 20D. This is the second L-series lens I've bought from Canon (the other being the 24-70mm f/2.8L). Before buying, I researched the different versions of this lens Canon offers (IS, non-IS and non-IS f/4). I looked for every reason 'not' to spend the money on the IS version but ultimately got it anyway. I have never regretted the purchase. You should know that IS (Image Stabilization) is not a miracle cure for camera shake, but it does give you the equivalent of two or three stops in terms of usable shutter speeds. A motorized gyro inside the lens helps compensate for a modest amount of camera shake. It's powered by the camera's battery. That means if the slowest shutter speed you can shoot handheld without unacceptable blurring is 1/60, you will be able to shoot 1/40 or maybe 1/30 with IS. In some situations, that's the difference between a photo that's a keeper and one you toss. Of course, you can still take blurry photos with IS--as I said, it's not a miracle cure, but there's no question it's a worthwhile feature. This version of Canon's IS can be used with a tripod unlike the older version on some other Canon lenses such as the 100-400mm L, which cannot. It has two modes, one corrects for vertical motion only (for shots where you pan with a moving subject) and another that corrects for both horizontal and vertical motion. Note: IS does NOT compensate for subject motion--the only way to slow subject motion is with a faster shutter speed. IS is purely a feature that helps avoid the blurring caused by the camera moving. My copy of this lens is very sharp at all focal lengths. Color and contrast are excellent. I really don't have a single complaint about this lens. Some people find the weight objectionable, but it hasn't been an major issue for me. Unless you need to be physically running around to capture your images, or unless you have to hold the lens to your eye for lengthy periods (isn't that what tripods are for?), I don't see that it would be a problem for most average-sized, healthy adults. I often carry my 20D in a shoulder case with this lens, the 24-70mm L and a 580EX Speedlite. Hours of carrying this bag around does require transferring the load from shoulder to shoulder periodically, but it's a price I'm willing to pay to get quality photos.I own Canon's EF 1.4X II teleconverter and have used it on this lens with great results. The 70-200mm is so sharp to begin with that there's no appreciable loss in sharpness when combined with the 1.4X TC. Reportedly, the results from the 2X TC are not as good, and some find the falloff in sharpness to be too much (not just with this lens, but with any of the telephoto lenses). This lens is highly recommended. If you can get over the steep entry price, you'll have a high-quality optic built to last for years to come. Of course the non-IS versions can take beautiful photos as well, but having lived with IS now, I've been spoiled.Update 5-17-10: It's been 4 1/2 years since I wrote this review, and I continue to use and enjoy my 70-200mm, which is now paired with a Canon 7D. Anyone considering buying this lens today, however, should know that Canon updated this lens earlier this year. The mark II version has improved optics and the latest generation of IS, but it is priced $500 (MSRP) more than its predecessor. Check Amazon's listing for the mark II to see the exact difference in price.

Circularly polarised lens rotates of course but no
not a review per-se as I haven't taken pictures through them yet but arrived very fast, neat packaging to store them in, you just unscrew the existing UV filter on your P3 camera and screw these on in its place. As there is no lens cap I am planning to use the ND16 one for that job I can't see myself using that for photos. Circularly polarised lens rotates of course but not easy to tell from the outside where it is (passing / blocking the polarised light) however should be easy to tune in real-time on screen

Great addition
I purchased this lens on a referral from a photographer in town. I am starting to shoot a lot of sports and never knew the huge difference that image stabilization would make. Shooting a football game with this lens was a pleasure. I put it on my Canon 30D and got some great shots. Just to see the difference I put my standard lens on and the shots were blurry of course. I HIGHLY reccommend this lens to anyone that shoots and needs the stabilization.

Best value for your money.
I love this lens, I primarily use it for low light shots and it does great, autofocus works well, it's very sharp, honestly for the price you cannot afford not to have one.Now truth be told I didn't use it that much when I was using only my rebel t3 crop sensor camera, this lens looks like an 85mm through that and other crop bodies which for me it's too narrow. But on a full frame, it's such a good focal length for doing all sorts different shots.

Great Lens That Won't Break The Bank
I'm no professional photographer. I use a Canon T5i to take pictures of my wife and kid and family gatherings mainly. I purchased this from all the overwhelming positive reviews and I'm not disappointed at all. It can create a beautiful bokeh effect. Being a prime lens and having the ability to use f/1.8, allows this lens to take some pretty good low light pictures as well. It's got a nice weight to it and doesn't make it feel cheap. It's pretty much always on our camera now.
