Lens adapter works fine. Must select shooting w/o a lens in Fuji menu to use. Pentax lens will be manual focus.

Best Tamron lens I've owned!!
Sorry about all the photos, it is an awesome lens!! I've owned a few Tamron lenses and loved EACH one!! The Tamron 18-400mm EF Canon mount lens is a great lens, BUT this one I think has a LOT better glass! I am new to Fujifilm and I am still getting used to the X-T3, I had a couple of the Fuji XC lenses and finally I saw this lens here in Amazon. I've been trying to find it other places and everyone was backordered!! I AM VERY HAPPY I FOUND IT HERE!! Great..... NO, AWESOME lens!!! At 18mm the lens will focus at .2 inches, that is 5mm. At 300mm it needs to be back around 2.5 to 3 feet. That is farther back than when I was using my Canon and Tamron 18-400mm lens, I will need to get used to my Fuji and Tamron 18-300mm lens. BUT the photos are MUCH better!!! I HIGHLY recommend this Tamron 18-300mm lens!! I just can't say enough good things about it!!! (hehe I could post several more photos, close focus/macro is great!!)

Buy it. Great for night viewing. Was looking for new telescope. Now not for sure. I have a pentax 8X40 for daytime viewing which has way better optics. But for night and 150.00 dollars cheaper you can't go wrong. Lens covers suck (fall off ) but these are worth the price.

I used the 5mm adapter (provided) Great product. (
After a little persuasion, I got it to work on my Pentax ist dl camera. It makes a huge difference to the on camera flash. I used the 5mm adapter (provided) Great product. (should have bought one a long time ago!)

These are good!
These keepers are good. Arrived in time, and fit really well around the lens barrels of a Pentax FA 35mm, DA 18-55mm and even the Tamron 70-300 Telmacro. Everything as described, hope the adhesive spot sticks well on the cap.

I don't understand the bad publicity for this camera. Before buying this camera, I would buy a different camera every year (sometimes two cameras) looking for the best fit for me. I bought Sigma DP-1s, DP1x, Olympus E-PL1, E-PL2, TG-2 Nikon D-60, Pentax WG-2, and tested too many to mention. Once I received this camera and started taking pictures, my search stopped.It takes great night photos, awesome day photos, and is compact enough to carry around with me. I liked my Nikon, but it was too big to lug around with me all over the globe. Next upgrade for me is the lens adapter and full size lenses. No need for another camera for a long while. (Sorry Amazon) (OK maybe a Fuji or OM-D)
