A worthwhile value
I knew before buying this adapter that you cannot focus to infinity. I wanted to experiment with it because it does snap in place when it's installed. The other type of adapter that does allow focus to infinity also has its disadvantages.

A good product
This is a well-engineered and tightly fitting, light-tight, correct infinity focus adaptor.

Exceptional adapters that focus to infinity with m
Part 1 - Minolta MD to Sony NEX adapterTechnically, it slightly overshoots infinity but the issue is easily corrected by dialing back the focus ring just a tad --- Not exact but clearly better than not-at-all.Although very light due to extensive aluminum usage, the build quality and fit-and-finish of the adapter is superb. Connections on the lens and camera mount sides are tight and precise --- absolutely, zero slop. The top of the lens release button is flattened making the lens removal process very easy and comfortable.Other notes:- There are no electrical connections so focus and zoom must be done manually on the lens itself- When mounting the lens, turn the adapter clockwise till you hear a "click"- Tested with a Minolta 85mm f/1.7 Rokkor-X MD lens mounted to a Sony a6000 camera-----------------------Part 2 - Nikon Ai to Sony NEX adapterEdit: Based on my positive experience with the Minolta MD adapter, I also purchased the Nikon Ai adapter later. As with the Minolta MD adapter, the Nikon Ai version focuses beyond infinity a tiny bit. Fortunately, the same solution applies - dial back the focus ring and the horizon will become crystal clear. The build quality is impeccable and the finish is smooth and clean of burrs or machine marks. Connections on both sides are taut and precise with zero play.Additional notes for Nikon Ai adapter:- No electrical connections present so focus and zoom must be done manually on the lens.- Unlike the Minolta MD adapter, mounting the lens for Nikon adapter requires a counter-clockwise turn until you hear the "click" of the locking mechanism- Tested with a Nikon Micro Nikkor 55m f/2.8 Ai-S MF lens mounted to a Sony a6000 camera

Little tight on the lens side but works perfectly
Works exactly like it should. I bought this adapter instead of the second generation that K&F offers because of all the negative reviews that the newer one has. This one works and looks great, attaches to the body of the camera really well but the lens side it pretty tight, not too tight just tighter than I am used to. LOVE being able to use all my Minolta lenses on my A7R, (35mm f2.8, 50mm f1.2, 85mm f1.7 and a few others). Brings new life to old vintage lenses that would otherwise be sitting on the shelf with occasional use with my film cameras. If you're on the hunt for a MD-E-mount adapter for your old Minolta lenses, BUY THIS ONE. I got exactly what I needed and all my lenses focus to infinity as well. (actually slightly past infinity but thats better than not being able to at all).

Very pleased.
Works great with old manual focus Minolta lenses on a Sony A3000 camera. Fit of adapter to camera and fit of lens to adapter are both precise.

Good not great
I give this 3.5 stars. I use this with a number of Minolta MD's - 28 f/2.8, 28-85 f/3.5-4.5, 135 f/2.8 and 200 f/4. I've not noticed any light gap problem that I read about just now prior to writing this review. The only thing I find annoying is the infinity focus issue. I like to not spend much on these items but as I use more and more MD's it would be nice to have access to that very simple feature of manual focusing. Thus if not on a budget seek out an adapter that gives you infinity focus. Though I do have 4 lenses I use only one adapter, leave adapter on camera and just switch out lenses. Pic w/ MD 28 2.8.

The infinity problem is NOT a problem
It is good and lens is stable. I was going to give 3 stars because when I tried to focus very far objects or building I hadn't to focus to infinity, just a bit before. KLooking at forums there are many people who believe it is a problem of manufacturing accuracy. But then I focused once to the full moon and the infinity focus worked perfectly. So.. I was just ignorant :)

Well made
This adapter seems to be well made. I haven’t tried the auto focus because I wanted it as an adapter for a manual focus lens. For that purpose it is very good.

It's a great fit on my canon RP and canon EOS lens
This is a great auto focus lens mount adapter. It seems to work flawlessly the few times that I have used it. I would recommend this product.
