Well Made; Sturdy; Locks Down Tight
For my home office Video Meeting set-up I have a small Godox field monitor as the "Vanity Monitor" so I can see the output direct from my camera. As you can see in the first picture, I had a Super Clamp, a solid arm and a Shoe Mount Tilt Head to affix the litle monitor above my Teleprompter. That was a bit of overkill for this use case, so I ordered this Magic Arm to replace all that. The Clamp portion was wide enough to clamp onto an about-an-inch-and-a-half upright clamped to the desk. The second picture is after the installation of the Magic Arm; much neater. It works just fine, and is actually a bit more maneuverable to place the Monitor exactly right.
This bit of grip is well machined, and it tightens down solidly. No problems at all and I would but it again if I needed this smaller size Magic Arm for other applications.
