Made out of metal
The only plastic on this clamp is the soft pads on the jaws. Everything else is metal - mostly a good, anodized aluminum but also some steel parts here and there where needed. Even the knobs are aluminum.I have to mention the knobs, at least the main knob on the angle linkage. One knob controls both the joint tension as well as both end-ball tensions. Just position your accessory and tighten one knob to hold it in place. Very nice!
