Has a frosted diffuser in the front.Aluminum back. Has a threaded mount in the bottom made of metal.A nice rubber port cover for the Micro USB.On the back you have the 3 button controls.Good feel and click.Color modes (9), brightness up and down (12).LED indicator above the buttons.The light has a good weight and feel.You can easily mount this to any 1/4See photos as examples.I find the remote is the quickest way to set the color mode.The colors look great and fill a good amount of my studio.With the built in battery you should be able to run for hours.Mount the light or just lie it down in from of the object you need to light up.Maybe try your hand at some light painting.This is a light i use daily, for various projects. So handy.
