Very solid telescope
For the casual Amateur or the more serious hobbyist, this is a great scope. This is about at the top end of a refractor (which means you look through lenses all the way, which magnify, bigger telescopes are almost always reflectors which use a magnifying mirror).Three eyepieces, and a solid well done tripod for stability.On a clear night, with little background light, like in the desert or mountains, you should be able to just barely make out the rings of Saturn with this size telescope. You shoudl be able to make out the ice caps of Mars and the belts of Jupiter.This also makes for a VERY powerful terrestrial telescope. If you are watching, say, a falcons nest, you will be able to see incredible details from fairly far away.

LOVE THIS TELESCOPE!!!
My 12 year old daughter is extremely happy with this birthday gift. The setup took about 10 minutes. I haven't used many telescopes and this one is more advanced than any other one I've had. The manual was helpful in learning how to configure it. My daughter's share a room so there's not lots of storage space so I appreciate that it folds up and is pretty compact. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase and would recommend to others.

Great Beginner Product
I got this product for my nephew, he loves it. It is a great beginner telescope. He wanted something more sophisticated but I highly recommend this to families that have no idea about telescopes and to try it out. Kids are fickle and I wanted to try this out before spending a lot of money on a more sophisticated product. The only warning I would give is about the device to hook the phone too. Most iPhones and samsung phones fit with it but, it is difficult to attach to the telescope in order to take pictures. Also the pictures will be circle shape because that is the shape of the scope.

Amazing clarity - Best bet for amateur astronomer
I will def. recommend this product. It's been only 4 days, but I really like this thing, it has amazing clarity and not that bulky but for sure you will feel the weight within 10 seconds and thats the only issue.Still, much better if you will compare to telescope. And again you need to compare the price with bulky telescopes as well. So by all means good enough for amateur astronomer like me.....

Wonderful beginner/intermediate telescope
Excellent packaging, super easy assembly - loads of quality features. I recommend also getting the Celestron A/C adapter and a Talentcell 6000mah battery pack. Should you need to update the firmware you will also need to buy a generic brand special male USB to male Mini B cable (NOT mini c). My firmware was the 2016 version. I deeply regret buying a Celestron 127EQ first for Christmas as it is not really worth the money it costs and is poor quality. Visit a few astronomy forums, they all agree about the 127EQ. The Nexstar 127SLT is actually a GOOD scope and good value for the $$$. In optics you really do get what you pay for. The whole Nexstar line of Go-To telescopes provides good value and features for most all budgets.

Great product!
Use it to set my iPhone 2020SE in and works great! Remote Bluetoothed right into phone with no problems. Works fantastically! Telescopes up to multiple height adjustments to capture whatever you’re doing just right.

Incredible Telescope!
I’m a beginner as far as telescopes go and this is an amazing telescope for the price. It was easy to set up and I could see many stars as well as a couple planets on my first try. And that was with horrible light pollution. This is definitely a great telescope for a beginner through an intermediate user. It is great for starting off with astrophotography as well. I can’t think of anything negative to say about.
