Q
How much camera weight can it handle and can you use it with any dslr?
Answer Question
A
I agree with eddie - I have not really needed to support the 15 pounds that it should handle. With my camera with battery grip, 135mm lens and hanging my camera bag with extra body and 3 other lenses from the hook there was no visible deflection on the tripod legs and made it super stable. Any DSLR with standard screw mount should work without problem. My canon 70D had no problems.

I use it with a Panasonic LUMIX Fz 1000 which is not a very heavy camera. The legs seem very strong and I suppose could support much more weight. The ball head however, is not the best and seems to creep slightly before it holds the camera perfectly still.

I beleive it said 15lbs but i had a 20lbs bad hang under it and camera attached. This was due to a windy day. Should fit any dslr that has a screw mount on bottom.

While I can't give an exact weight, I was very impressed by how easily this handled my Sony A7rII and a monster of a lens. I also used my RRS ball head which is weighty. I felt very confident to trust my rig to this tripod plus it fit in my suitcase and my backpack. Small but sturdy.

I have a Nikon D810 with a battery pack and I've used a 50mm, 85mm and a 20mm on it with no problems!
