For reasons I won't get into, in March 2020, I started working from home and video conferencing much more frequently. For a while, I used my iPad for this, but eventually decided I'd be better off with a legitimate web cam for my computer. This one seemed like the most reliable, 4K camera from a reputable company, and it hasn't disappointed. Worked instantly with both my Mac and PC, and provides excellent picture quality.

I've got several indoor cameras in my house at different entrances, and I need more cameras outside, so I want to try this Noorio cam to test if it's really working correctly as the advertisement.First, I charged the cam once I unboxed it, and had it installed within 10 minutes. Everything is simple and easy, just follow the steps in the app, it will find your wifi signal and connect automatically, but just make sure that your wifi covers wide enough, or you might need a wifi hub for it. I choose the magnetic mount since I don't want to drill holes on my wall, just in case I might move the cam. It looks nice and the 3M sticker is strong enough to hold the cam, so far.Second, I setup the system to send alert when it sees a person in the selected area because I don't want to receive unnecessary notifications. There are no false alarms from animals or moving cars during the these days, the phone will receive the message within about a second of sight. The two-way talk is useful, I used it for once when deliveryman came to drop my package, it sounds pretty clear in the app, I guess it'll be the same through the cam.Third, the function I like the most is the spotlight and siren, and you could set the mode to Sleep during the night or Away when you're out for work or vacations. The system is really powerful that you can feel secure. The spotlight is motion-activited and siren is loud enough to warn off thieves around your house. Cuz your friend will not come to find you knowing you're sleeping in the midnight or not home, right? It feels like a smart safe guard 24 hours in your front door.Summary, the functions are working well as it says in the ad, the best ones for me are wireless and battery-powered (however I've no idea how many days it will run, let's see in the future, it would be great if it works for 180 days), and warning systems is pretty smart, local storage is free and fast, water proof. The image quality is of normal quality I think, but it's clear during the night as well.I will buy 2 more for my outside doors and front gate if it's working well in the following days later on. These are very high-quality connectors that give me confidence to use with my vary expensive camera.

While the smartphone software is a bit clunky (download the AKASO app, not what the instructions say!), it works better than I might have expected for the price point! The features are great, comparable to any GoPro, and it comes with a strong array of accessories. Very solid camera.

This peephole security camera is easy to install and ready to be used out of the box without wires. I like that this design is hidden behind the door, making it feel safe to use. Now we can have images automatically taken of our visitors and view them easily. I especially like the big screen and sharp images. Great product.
